Jul 6th 2008 9:10PM Doesn't virtually all homes have a high current outlet for washer/dryer/electric oven?

But I doubt it'll deliver 80amps, so 40amp doesn't seem all that urneasonable for a conventional home to have.

Jun 4th 2008 6:19PM Wow. That's scary. I was driving to school this morning and noticed a huge plume of black smoke hanging over the downtown area. I knew immediately it had to be a huge fire of some sort. Good thing no one was hurt.

Jun 1st 2008 5:14PM Nissan is the biggest fraud in the automotive industry today.

Why?

-Flying start

-Does not start and stop timing at the same place

-Test mule car aka non-production spec

-Slick tires

Nissan likes to issue press releases stating their car is production spec but the intelligent enthusiasts can easily see through their lies.

VIDEO: Mismatched much? Challenger SRT8 vs. Civic Si {Autoblog}

May 30th 2008 7:28PM The SRT8 is MSRP'ed at $38,000

Actual market price may be higher due to high demand and low supply.

May 30th 2008 7:26PM Why this post clearly shows that a stock Dodge Challenger SRT8 is faster than a (presumably stock) 8th gen Honda Civic Si in a 660 feet drag race.

*chuckle chuckle*

Throw $18k worth of mods into the Civic Si and see who is laughing at the end of the day. (btw, $18k is difference of MSRP between a base Si and a SRT8)

Apr 27th 2008 6:30PM Yup.

The reason why these really spectacular crashes are not as bad as people think is because of simple physics. When the car is rolling and spinning and doing all that stuff it's losing kinetic energy the whole way. And so when it DOES hit something, it's not nearly as sudden of a deceleration and the safety systems built into these cars are more than capable of protecting the driver.

Now if you look at a "harmless" and "simple" crash like Earnhardt's, it's far more deadly because he basically went from 190mph to 0mph in less than a second. His car and his body had to absorb all that energy straight on.
