Hot Seat: White House Chances Post-Iowa {Political Machine Blog}

Jan 6th 2008 5:01PM I think the democrats don't have anyone good enough!
lets see, theres hillary, who thinks she can run since she was in the white house as a wife of a husband who cheated on her, and her morals I for one have no respect for since she stayed with him. I would have left him. Its a humiliation!
Obama doesn't seem like he walks the talk.
One minute he says one thing, another time something else. I call that flip flop
Huckabee, I have respect for him, he is a church goer, but I don't think he has what it takes to be a president. Haven't put my finger on that one yet.
Romney, I have to read more up on him, not sure.
Edwards, don't like him, can't put my finger on why, but something about him I personally don't like.
McCain, well heres a man, that may be able to do the job. Served in the military,fought a war, and has been politics for quite a long time.
I really prefer not a democrat,(I am a independent) I vote for who I think may be able to run this country well.
I am listening to the debates and they are talking about raising taxes on your paychecks. MORE TAXES!!!
pretty soon we will be bringing home less money.
I know in the state of NY and NJ lets talk about govenor Corzine. Before he got into office, he said , NO TAX RAISES.... the moment he got in, guess what, cuts in schools, taxes raised, tolls now getting hiked, transit raises..... all democrats.
LET THE RICH GET TAXED>>the middle class and lower should not get raised at all!!! enough on taxes.
I don't like the democratic party.. everything is take this away and add on more money to take from us for taxes.
I think I will place my vote for MICKEY MOUSE, lol

Craigslist Find of the Decade: 940,000 mile '95 Honda Civic {Autoblog}

Oct 7th 2007 2:05AM I owned from new a honda 97 SE I just now got a new car. Had toyota before also, brand new, also a very good car.
My honda accord SE gave me with 1 timing belt, oil changes every 3,000 miles, and when the car was 8 years old, I started doing Oil changes every 2 thousand miles.
Battery 2x, and a couple new belts.
The car was a excellent car, brakes only when needed.
I had 323,750 when I traded my car for a new car.
The water pump steering, engine, transmission etc, was all original from new.
The car was driven mostly highway miles, not alot intown.
The reason I traded in the car (which I thought I was going to its funeral, and wanted to cry) was because all of a sudden oil started to leak into the engine and I figured at car at 10 years old ( and original owner) was time for a change, I didn't want to put more money into the car. Thought eventually soon perhaps major things might happen, and figured I would use some of that money for a downpayment on a new car.
I loved the car, the ride was nice and it was good to me.
As far as buying new cars, I would never buy a american car again. I have in the past, had nothing but heartache from the day it was taken out, the garage would have the car more than I would the first year, and when I inquired about lemon law the jerk at the dealership *(manager) told me I would have to first get a attorney, then by the time it comes to court, no judge would give you a new car. I was dumb to believe him,and until they found the problem with the car, which took about a week after expiration of warranty year later, it turned out to be a peice of metal stuck in the flywheel of the transmission, which then they had to replace the trans, and other problem took them a few months more which was knocking when backing out of the driveway in a certain direction. Turned out to be the bearing was defected.
I told them from the beginning, check the left front wheel cause of the knocking, on the paper when I had picked up the car, they checked the right wheel, and said nothing found.
I had a volvo, the outside of the volvo, was strong and nice, but the interior was horrible. The door handles in the interior were made of a sponge. After having the car 2 years, the handles started drying up and crumbling. The knobs to the radio and heater would break off and had to replace the knobs 2 x., the brakes when you had to replace them, always when you went to stop, the whole block could hear you stop, the screeching was horrible. and those were volvo brakes from the volvo garage.
plus a mercedes I had which I had, every time I would go thru a puddle of water in the rain, or just a puddle of water after the rain, my steering wheel would lock, and I couldn't turn it. I would bring it to the service, and could never find the problem. I traded it in, before I would have a accident

plus I had a LTD ford, which was a year old, and the engine caught on fire as I pulled up to my house from food shopping. I have never had a problem with my honda or my toyota, and from now on, I will never buy anything but......
