Aug 15th 2007 11:58AM I think Toyota's long term plan is to hire sales reps right out of Wendy's. Picture this someone walks into a Toyota showroon, wanting a SUV. At the check out counter all the sales rep has to do is ask "would you like to biggie size your order for just $20,000 more" lol.
I know the Land Cruiser in other parts of the world is used as a real off roader and comes in various configurations that allow it to be sold as fairly descently priced SUVs. In the US it has been restricted as an uptrim model. I would hope Toyata keeps it out of the US market as it is just too close to the Lexus model and the only thing different is the badge and the service center you take it too.
Given they already have the Sequoia it would make sense not to bring it to the US and keep the Lexus brand equity up by not having a similar looking Toyota in the mkt.

Jan 12th 2007 2:54PM man look at those switch placements it is nuts -- the hazard light switch is on the passenger side of the console -- i guess infiniti thinks passengers should control those lights :)
also whats the tiny clock doing at the bottom of the console -- oh so easy to see, infiniti engeneers obviously are in need of an ergonomics 101 class.

Oct 26th 2006 11:42AM looks like GM is finally getting it -- the engine is good in terms of horses and mileage, the transmissions are finally 6 speed and the interiors are great -- they are now able to compete with the imports and the pricing sure helps.
