REPORT: Kia Soul definitely headed for the U.S and China {Autoblog}
May 12th 2008 11:59AM We've been hearing this car has been coming here for YEARS now. God, just sell the damned thing already, Kia! I'll buy one!
Toyota responds to Ford's new initial quality ads {Autoblog}
May 12th 2008 11:57AM "While we agree that initial quality is far from the complete quality story, it's incredible that Toyota would discredit a stat that has been a pillar of its own high quality image."
Uh, that's because Toyota never made those HIGHEST IN INITIAL QUALITY bragging ads that you tend to see from Hyundai, GM, Ford, etc. That's called "comparison advertising" and you don't do that on a model like the Camry or Corolla when it's already the best-selling model in its class. You do it when you sell a Sonata or a Fusion because you're trying to catch UP to the leader.
Obama picks worst car ever to come out of Motown {Autoblog}
May 7th 2008 11:24AM Well, for my family, the Granada was easily the worst car we ever owned. Six years of nonstop problems. Thank God we didn't have to get to the rusting-out stage. Cars were rustbuckets back then -- our '77 Nova's floor rusted through completely in the early 90's -- but that car was heads and tails above our '81 Granada.
GM wants gay community to drive Equinox fuel cell vehicle {Autoblog}
Apr 26th 2008 11:07AM Activists? Really? If there were an article about an automaker reaching out to, say, the Latino community, would that be considered "activism"? What year is this, anyway?

GOOD. Most pointless organization ever.
Chevy offering up new Malibu with four-cylinder engine {Autoblog}
Apr 23rd 2008 10:34AM Good economy with the 4, even though the Malibu's smaller than the Accord. But too bad the Malibu V6 gets far worse fuel economy than the Camry V6.
2009 Ford Fusion to get more power, six-speed 'box {Autoblog}
Apr 21st 2008 12:57PM That 3.0L V6 gets terrible gas mileage for its output. The Malibu gets the same mileage with the V6 and it's 30% quicker to 60! Ditto for practically every other mid-sized sedan on the market.
VW Rabbit is the new top-researched car on Gaywheels.com {Autoblog}
Apr 10th 2008 11:08AM Agreed. Seeing the Dodge Caliber on this list is sad. And confusing. We gays apologize.
IIHS midsize smack down: Side impact ratings better, rear crashes, not so much {Autoblog}
Apr 10th 2008 10:54AM I love how everyone acts like EVERY accident is avoidable. You're the same people who in the 50's would have said "I'm not adding ten pounds of weight to my car! Who ever heard of SEAT BELTS anyway?!" Give me a break.
