Feb 27th 2008 11:11AM Good. It's about time Ford issued a polarizing design. The people that do like it , like myself are going to want to buy it immediately. As opposed to years of middling designs like the 500 and Freestyle where no one hates the designs, but no one is particularly moved to buy them either.

Feb 27th 2008 10:56AM I agree with bdkross. I think Flex has serious "segment busting" potential. I think *everyone* including Ford themselves is going to be surprised at how well this is going to be received.

Jan 15th 2008 10:52AM Totally. This would be the perfect show for Adam Carolla to host. He likes performance cars. He doesn't like old muscle cars. I wouldn't say he has bias against Detroit, but he prefers engineered vehicles over raw power. He owns a few Ferarri's and Aston Martins. He'd be perfect.

Jan 14th 2008 8:13AM This car is the first result of Ford's new-est attempt at global product development. Yes, it was developed in Europe but unlike the Mondeo or Fiesta it was developed for Europe, North America and many other markets. The next Mondeo will also be developed globally by both FoE and FNA -- likely to become the Mondeo in Europe and the Fusion/Milan/MKZ in the the US.
I dunno about you folks, but I think that Ford has finally gotten it right. This Verve is a knock-out, out of the park home run!

Jan 12th 2008 9:44AM You're all a bunch of babies! The new Ford F150 looks terrific! It's an excellent evolution of an already great design. It looks very sophisticated for a truck, I think. And the Verve? WTF? That's a Ford? Really? It looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
