May 7th 2008 1:51PM AMC Matador tied with Pacer,man those cars were a piece of work..Mercury Bobcat are up there too,the Oldsmobile Cutlass with the chopped off/slanted back..but any import were far worse,hell they looked like crap and did not move....

The Chrysler Cordoba's,I had several and a few Dodge Magnums (78-79)especially black with black leather and the girls do love those cars..yes even today...Hell they are b-body mopars(charger roadrunner underpinnings)With Chryslers of that era you take the lean burn computer off and replace the carb with a non smog carb(silky smooth idle and the engine totally sounds meaner a great induction roar) and you have a good 14-low 15 second 1/4 mile car with the 2.45 rear gear ratio and the 360 .I had a 75 400 4bbl Cordoba,it was a low 14 sec car 1/4 mi car with 2.76 gears,add 3.55 and even better. I had one with the 150 mph speedo I got up to 140 ish before I had to slow down,yeah they stop from 60 mph in 127 feet ,and handle real good,probably one of the best handling cars of the 70's....and they look better than any Monte Carlo..

May 6th 2008 1:26PM Actually the best looking/made cars ever are in this museum,and by doing this the museum will bring in more people and more cars will be allowed in by private collectors,so making the museum a bucket load of money.remember Mopars nationals,All Chrysler nationals and many other smaller Mopar shows bring in thousands of people....And having stock 11 second 1/4 mile 440 6 barrel and Hemi Mopars (with slicks of course not with street tires)on display and a whole lotta rare Mopars....Hell tha Asian brands will never have as many hot looking cars as Mopar did...ever see a 70 Honda/Subaru uh ..yeah...mm..

Its not a factory incentive,you have to watch its probably a demo,or lease return most likely used to get that much off a new Nothing new for dealers to advertise 10-15,000 off,i've seen precious imports use this tacktick though you get a near new with the depreciation already done.
Though it does make sense since the new 2009 Ram is out in a few months to clear out all the 08's,real good deal for people to buy one now ..you get a decent powered truck,nice ride,handling,style and if you drive like a normal person with the occasional stop light bursts you will get 16-18 mpg mixed city/hwy mpg..7 second range 0-60 not bad for a 5200 lb truck..Oh I here it now,the tundra does 6.something ,but the tundra has 4.30 gears thats the difference,add 4.30 in the Ram and it edges the Tundra out,seen it at the track..
And for people complaining about gas I spent $950 -$1,200 a month on gas,so yeah I wish it were cheaper but oh well..

May 2nd 2008 11:50AM Yeah I like this guys style,most of these car blogs are filled with far left ,nose stuck up in the air fellow p.c fart sniffing morons.As car enthusiasts, even driving your crappy little 4 banger econo car is getting harder to do with the GOVERNMENT taxing the hell out of gas,not being able to drill for oil in the U.S,not enough refineries ect...P.S man made global warming is pure b.s all its just a scare tacktick to raise the price of everything.Normal to have 10-15 years of warming then cooling then repeating and we are now begining the cooling cycle,pretty soon with all these idiots making bs movies about warming we will not be allowed to drive,you guys want to ride a bike and park your car... yeah obviously they dont have a real job because I cannot ride 50 miles in 90 degree heat with a suite and tie and not stink like a granola eating ,pot smoking ,green peace jobless hippie..yes 90 degrees is normal here, dont be alarmed people..any who Brock Yates has his own style and is not affraid to piss of people that do not agree with him..

Why are people so pissed about trucks and suv's ? I happen to love cars,trucks,suv's I just find it strange to pick on large trucks and suv's. It seems small car owners are writing negative remarks because they or it sounds like they are ignorant and I feel they are jealous..they cant afford to buy one new nor a cheaper used one, let alone to pay for the gas.People buy them for comfort,safety,excellent visibility and room and they just look better than 98% of new cars today.I dont like being all cramped when I drive a small even mid size car,or ride around in someones small unsafe Prius (death trap)...usually people take the fuel mileage into consideration when they buy a truck,but the pro's out number the cons.. I have trucks and cars and so according to ignorant,arrogant people up here,when I drive my truck you guys hate me but if I drive a car Im in your so called cool crowd..This absolutely makes my next new vehicle a full size truck,yep cars are gone more trucks for me...because I cant stand the way car people are so stuck up..unbelievable..really... I am ashamed to drive around in a car after reading these juvenile remarks..

Yes its a non manly car,he is ignorant and very stupid,not mentioning the laws this dolt is breaking..Guess you never drove a Dodge truck then did you ?especially a 2 wheel drive model they stick around corners with very little lean,or ever drive an srt-10 it will run the doors off a miata,any day 0-60 or for you 0-96 km/h 4.5 sec...you would be surprised how good they handle,plus when I drive 90 km/hr and this and other dolts like this in tiny retarded cars that are full of crap cut me off and I T- bone them, I will be going home ..and they are in a body bag going 6 feet under..looks like this guy wont be around in 5 years with the idiotic acts he is pulling off...

Apr 23rd 2008 8:24AM Cyclists mostly ride on the line or over it on the road,no wonder they get hit..I love it when they take up the whole road and you cant pass them because of oncoming traffic,bloody ignorant fools..They run stop signs,lights and the funniest thing ever i've seen, one cyclist ran a stop sign and nailed a Sunfire in the 1/4 panel,the dolt went flying.And usually around here people ride bikes because they are homeless,lost license,and the guys with nut crushing spandex obviously cant or dont drive a car because they have no idea how to be courteous to traffic ..your slow pull over let the cars pass...Hell if I rode a bike I sure as hell would look out for cars,makes sense to me ,but I guess when your nuts are squashed and a tiny bike seat is rammed up your rectum,I guess you would ride all over the road as well...

Apr 22nd 2008 2:19PM Nice car good price,I drove a 3.5 sxt Charger it averaged 25.3 mpg,some road tests clock it at 7.5-7.8 0-60 mid-high 15's and the new 4.0 phoenix engines will be out soon to replace with better gas mi/power .Yeah alot of people will buy these Challengers .Some people like a good looking 2 door,and are not obsessed with having the fastest car (get the HEMI for that)or the stigma of having a poor mans asian import.
And import owners dont knock rental cars every time I rent a car its a Honda/Toyota/Subaru and more are showing up at rental lots all the time,so dont think those imports have such high quality I am appalled that auto journelists have such high praise for these import cars I really wonder how they could praise them with hard seats,cheap plastic though they say its not sure doesnt feel like it,,there was a Sebring beside my Camry and the trunk gaps on my rental Camry were so noticeable I thought the trunk would leak and wreck my luggage and the Sebring did not look as noticable,plus the noisey (plus some tick/knock) torqueless engines especially up hills not impressed at all, so ..so much for people relying solely on journelists opinions,you can tell they all go to the same school,and think alike..a really bad school..
