Mar 22nd 2007 2:19AM Wanna know a secret???I was the one ( Maybe one of many) who e-mailed the Prime Minister on this very topic,it's like he used my Idea to a "T".You wanna get involved,then write letters to your MP'S,or Senators for the US.Stop your Bitching and moaning about your "Fat Assed SUV's" Your one of the major reasons why fuel prices are going up,it's all about demand.Smogg is a big problem in Toronto,and will get worse and worse unless we detour people from buying cars that get less than 13L/100KM,or 19 mpg / US galon.This isn't even about Keoto.Long before Keoto,the EU had implimented a similar strategy,to reduce smog,and rising fuel costs.If you don't think purchasing a vehicle that gets better than 19mpg isn't a good idea,than your a complete morron.Cars in the 80's were getting 19 mpg,20 years ago...
So let's all think foreward a little....

Mar 19th 2007 8:42PM I live in Canada,it is leagal for cronic patients,or a select few.If they legalized it,everybody could grow their own,less money spent on chasing Drug Gangs,Bikers and so on.Put the Crime prevention,or action monies to fight Crack,Coke,and other drugs that make you so desperate that one day your're robing people,or shooting people to get your fix.It is a fact,the worst thing anyone did high on Mary-Jane is eat too much or laugh so much that they strained an abdominal.I don't smoke anymore,But when I did it was alot of fun,never dark or dangerous.

Feb 28th 2007 9:23PM I agree with Jimmy.VW ,MB,BMW,and Volvo have far superior chasis to any other cars.They conduct real crash senarios with offset collisions in europe.Any one can crash a car head on or at 90 deg. at 35 mph.and fair a pass.Princess Diana would or survived hitting a concrete pole at 75 MPH. had she wore a seat belt,the limo driver lived in that S series.I'd like to see a lexus do that.....

How much money did Toyota pay Edmunds for that offering??? I had a lot of respect for Edmunds until I saw That.....Truck Of the Year From a magazine going to The Chevy,,you expect that shit,,,,But a website????

Jan 25th 2007 12:49AM All 4 Trucks are good in their own way.The new Silverado has a superior interior,and a proven small block.I Have a Tundra 2001 with 300,000 Km's.Nothing failed,just oil and brakes.But do I grin when I see a fully loaded Ram diesel that's better on fuel than the v6 in my truck?? Yup.Will I give up the low maintenance if I buy a Ram or Silverado? Yes.That My Freinds is the ONLY thing I will give up is maintenace costs in the long haul.But as for style,appearance,comfort,built materials,paint,,The Domestics still edge Toyota.The Interior in My Tundra is so plastic,i think rubermaid made it,the seats got soft after 100Km's,the suspension is bottoming out.Reliability yes the other Items Not,,Closer with the new one,,But still second to the forementioned.They will sell some trucks,I'm guessing around 175,000 units.They could sell their trucks at a lesser cost due to their lower labour burden than the big 2.5,but they wont because they are greedy.......
Truck buyers are a smart breed they know what we want,their Interior will be their hardest sell.Truck buyers arent people who trade in their camry for a Tundra they are guys trading in their f-150 for a new truck.There's a truck out there for everyone..
