Porsche debuts Cayman S in U.S. with a price {Autoblog}
Jan 10th 2006 8:07PM Just bought a new Cayman S in the UK with 19" Sports Design Wheels and Sports Chrono Plus/PCM/Climate/Sports Steering Wheel/Sports Seats etc...
It was sitting in the showroom when I collected it next to a few 911's and I must say that it made the 911 look like more of a family car and the Cayman looked a heck of a lot sportier.
I've driven a Boxster S and 911 Carrera and the Cayman S felt a lot sportier to drive and fun, It really is different and it is as good as the reviews have made it out to be.
I've had the car now for 5 days and keep finding excuses to take it for a drive, it looks awesome and drives awesome.
It will live in the shadow of the 911 for a while until people see them on the road and sit in one and drive it themselves.
It can't be a poor mans 911 because it is very expensive and I'm sure that if you can afford a Cayman S it wouldnt take that much more to be able to buy a 911 - It's really a matter of do I want passengers or do I have children to cart about?
The Cayman is a true sports coupe...
Go check it out :-)
