Chrysler's financial arm no longer offering leases {Autoblog}

Jul 25th 2008 7:47PM You really think they are/were borrowing anywhere near Libor + 100 basis points?

This car is sweet, though. I hope I can afford one.

Chrysler/Cerberus gives dealers six months to improve sales, or else {Autoblog}

Jul 26th 2007 2:17AM Please don't use a dealer for an excuse not to buy a car. Many (maybe most) dealers are horrible. Please do your homework. If there's a car you like, ask around to figure out the best dealer that sells that car. I've worked for 2 Chrysler/Jeep dealers, a Dodge dealer, a Buick dealer, a Chevrolet dearler, and a Pontiac/GMC dealer (in several capacities including sales) and I can tell dealers are bad and good.

Complaining/worrying about dealers is not a reason to avoid buying a specific car. I acknowledge that certain brands have a higher percentage of good or bad dealers, but if there is a car you like then you can easily find a good dealer that sells that brand.

Left lane drivers of America want you to move over. You know who you are {Autoblog}

Jun 13th 2007 1:25AM Where does everyone drive? I wish I could DO the speed limit. I average probably 20 mph on the way to work in Seattle.

Outside of that....you know....in other parts of the country, the left lane is for passing. This should be common knowledge before driving age is reached. Please don't pace the car in the lane next to you either. It's dangerous, and taught to be avoided in Driver's Ed. I call it the rolling road block.

Overall, just be courteous, and let's eliminate all the vigilante BS. Do your thing, let others do their's.

Nissan continues to build a better traffic light {Autoblog}

Mar 14th 2007 6:46PM "In principle, when traffic conditions are lighter in the daytime, the pedestrian signal remains on green while the driver signal is maintained on red."

This would absolutely drive me crazy. Can you imagine if all the walk signals were "go" and all the traffic signals were "stop" until a car approached? You would have to stop at every single light. Then you would have to wait for the crosswalk to go through it's whole flashing "don't walk" phase before you could finally get a green signal. All this for a crosswalk with nobody in it? I'd pull my hair out.

Chrysler to launch the Imperial in 2010, unless CAW refuses to build it {Autoblog}

Mar 6th 2007 2:37PM I'm not sure they could sell enough of these to make a business case. Pricing will be the crucial factor, and it's not as if this has to cost a lot more than the 300. I'm thinking back to when Chrysler was selling both the 300M and LHS at similar prices.

Geneva Auto Show: Toyota Hybrid X concept is the uber-Prius {Autoblog}

Mar 6th 2007 2:14PM I wouldn't accuse it of being pretty, but there's a lot of interesting stuff going on. It's fun to stare at, at least. It looks like a member of the porcine family. I kind of see a bull dog stance also.
