Nov 10th 2006 12:54PM #1, what exactly do you mean by "Imagine that, more 'Leg Room' for Chinese buyers..."? Is this supposed to be a racist comment, or am I just reading it wrong? China has plenty of tall people, and because of the population, probably more than the US. Even if a person isn't tall, it doesn't mean they can't use the leg room. If you want more room buy a bigger car, but please, do not make racist generalizations.
Take our Sebrings, please! $1,000 for your sedan {Autoblog}
Nov 7th 2006 9:19AM This is actually a really brilliant move. One of the biggest problems US automakers have been facing is the perception, and sometimes mis-perception, that Americans make crap cars. Most who buy American have been buying American, and those that buy Japanese rarely consider buying American. Chrysler is reaching conquest buyers, a critical group of people that Chrysler, and any US automaker, needs to succeed in the long run.
Toyota releases new Corolla in Japan {Autoblog}
Oct 10th 2006 9:23AM Its actually really impressive for a small car, especially for a Corolla. It doesn't have the comical dimesions that many other small cars are plagued with, and doesn't look half bad. Laugh all you want, its still going to be a huge hit to Toyota once they bring it over to America.
