May 7th 2008 11:31AM Come on Sam, How could you say that. Do you really know the cars of that era? Granted, they were all dogs in that era though. That was the era in which he came of age, that what he drove. Don't quite get your point.
Worse car? Try Mustang II (Pinto based), Pinto, Gremlin or Pacer. I would rather drive a Granada over a Ford Fairmont (Fox platform which also became the Fox based Mustang).
There was nothing wrong with the Ford Granada back in the 70s. It was standard fare of just about all cars american. The Lincoln Versailles (rebadged, gussied up Granada) was second only to the original Seville as American mid-sized cars to be seen in.
BMW were an oddity back then, Acuras and Infiniti were not even thought of.

May 6th 2008 10:59AM Commuter: On my third domestic of 14 cars owned. I lived in a time when owning a domestic was a stupid thing to do. Now I seriously don't think that I will ever own another import.
MB 240D - indestructible. Was the best car I've ever owned.
VW Sirocco - intolerable. Was the worst car I've ever owned.
