Apr 26th 2008 2:29PM While I agree with the other enthusiasts in here that every segment should have fun cars but the reality is that boring sells (especially in the family car segment). When you're a 30-something y.o. father/mother with two kids, you're not thinking about corner carving or neck-snapping acceleration. Your top priorities are usually space, efficiency, and reliability.
That explains why the Camry is the best selling car in America. The Sonata seems to do everything the Camry does except with an interior that looks miles ahead of it...

Apr 11th 2008 7:13PM Well whats the point of getting a Scion when several economy cars that are bigger, more stylish, and more fuel-efficient can be had for the same or less money? Why would I opt for a Scion tC when I can cop a Civic EX coupe for close to the same dough? And why get the xB when its main selling points (boxy design, Japanese flair, economy) aren't really there anymore? Scion's current line-up doesn't amuse me at all...

Apr 5th 2008 1:37PM With gas prices quickly approaching $4/gal, a baby Buick may not be such a bad idea. Maybe not this one exactly, but the idea doesn't seem too bad. A compact-luxury "Buick" would probably sell better than a compact Caddy as that's supposed to be the BMW fighter...
