May 21st 2007 5:10PM The new MINI (2007 model) has the same displacement as the previous model (2002-2006) engine but with greater fuel economy (and just slightly better power). If someone is shopping for a G, they shouldn't care too much about mileage. Why would they buy a 3500lbs "coupe" if they did?

The BMW engine isn't even direct injected in the US market...
