Scirocco blowing back into showrooms {Autoblog}
Oct 8th 2006 10:41AM I really like the Scirocco, I could live with out the '89 Nenon green paint though. My only concern is how overpriced they will make the car. It will probably launch near the 30K mark (USD) and at that price, it isn't worht it.
GM responds to Boston Globe critique {Autoblog}
Sep 19th 2006 1:07PM AZMike (#13), My point was that Chrsler tends to get a free pass (and the key word in your retort is will have...by 2007) Ford and GM already have these vehicles out. People seem to like bashing GM and Ford, Toyota lately for their recalls. People take no responsibility, you want gas prices to come down? Ride your bike, take public transportation, quit waitiing for someone else to design a "perfect" machine, because physics 101 says that it is impossible.
GM responds to Boston Globe critique {Autoblog}
Sep 19th 2006 10:12AM I think it is amusing that people always pick on Ford and GM. Does the big 0.5 (aka - Chrysler) even have a hybrid, E85, hydrogen car? This is just writing an argumentative piece for publicity when the writer has a complete lack of imagination and/or ability.

Sep 18th 2006 3:45PM I'm sorry, did I miss something, when was the Taurus ever good lookig. It was successful because it was dependable and priced right. That is what this car needs to be.

BREAKING! GM and Ford rumored alliance {Autoblog}
Sep 18th 2006 7:54AM How many of you neysayers have actually driven a car from either of these brands? Nick (#6) was right that there could be benefits if they do it right, however I think this is just gossip and bad reporting.
The worst part would be for the consumer. Look at Ford's minivan, yes it was bad, but how happy were Toyota/Honda/Chrysler to see one more competitor leave? Competition keeps prices down and options available for the consumer. I for one, enjoy being able to purchase a vehicle in the low 20's (Chevy Venture) that has given me no problems and has options I wanted, versus the imports for several thousand more.

Sep 14th 2006 10:19PM You guys keep saying cougar, I saw the silver one and thought Mitsu Eclipe. Not a bad thing, and I bet this one is priced for more normal people.
No Lightning? No Problem: Saleen S331 in production {Autoblog}
Sep 12th 2006 9:15AM Ken, I think the main point is, people who can't afford this are all of a sudden environventalists and bash these vehicles. I would love to see some of these people win the lottery, I would gaurantee they would have at least 1 exotic car and then make some donation to Green Peace to make themselves feel better.
Back on task, I like it. It also seems relatively cheap for a Saleen. Don't the fully optioned pick-ups go for mid 30's anyway?
GM to drop $400m on pickup ads {Autoblog}
Sep 11th 2006 11:07AM Can I just sign-up for the interest on that budget, and I promise the General I will buy a new pick-up every week. Good Lord, does anyone really need to allocate that much money for advertising?
