A half dozen fun undocumented iPhone preferences {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Nov 27th 2007 5:29PM for those who want to do this without jailbreaking, you should be able to as the preference file is not in the jail. I think that with iPhuc you should be able to get the file then you will need to change it and put it back. To change it you will need a Mac though, I haven't found a good way to edit the plist from a pc

Nov 20th 2007 2:23PM almost right. MR-S in Japan, MR2 in US MR in France (don't know about the rest of Europe.
By the way I had one when in Japan, very nice car but its problem was the miata which was as much fun to drive AND livable as a main driver (thanks to its reasonably sized boot).
Now that I am in US I own a miata (the new one) and it si much more liveable with, in a car like this you don't need lots of storage but you do need a minimum

May 30th 2007 11:22PM I just hope if this come to pass it will apply only to SUVs, trucks and vans and not to cars. America has a problem with rollover because Americans tend to drive vehicle with a center of gravity which is too high for its own good.

Jan 31st 2007 7:45AM the cappuccino looks just like the one I had in Japan. I'm sure the owner must be attracting lots of attention.
Amazingly, I have had 3 roadster, the cappuccino, an MR2 spyder and my current 98 boxster and the cappuccino was the most fun of the three while the boxster is by far the best all round.

Project Kimber AC Smart Roadster takes shape {Autoblog}
Dec 8th 2006 1:48PM Nill,
have you driven a smart roadster before? I have and frankly the car was all nice EXCEPT the manu-matic which was absolutely horrible. It had the inconvenients of both manual and automatic transmissions with none of the advantages:
slow shift (auto like)
jerky shift (like a badly driven manual)
At the time when I tried one it was to replace my suzuki cappuccino (it was RR of the day at one point) which is a very similar car, light wait 2 seater convertible with RWD and sporty pretention but small turbo engine. Because of the transmission I didn't get the roadster. (Since then I have had a Toyota MR-S and a porsche boxter 2.5, the cappuccino was the most fun of the 3 but of course the boxster is the best one all around, way faster, much more practical, more luxurious, more rigig, more refined, ...)

Oct 20th 2006 11:33AM I want to confirm the comment from Tiago do Vale about which car this is going to compete against.
I will also add that it will not compete well in Europe except in Spain Portugal and maybe Italy (but the last only because it is Italian). Other European countries prefer hatches and really do not take well to hatch derived sedan. This is a car made for Turkey, north africa and other countries which tend to prefer 3 boxes sedan.

Oct 19th 2006 11:03AM same comment as for previous day, themed weeks are really not interesting, please go back to the previous RR of the day format or make the theme less restrictive.

Oct 18th 2006 1:32PM I agree with the multiple comments about all WRX and EVO being boring. If I want to see a specific kind of vehicle on the internet I can google for it. It was more fun having cars from diverse origin in there.
I actually think that this is doing the owner of the selected RR of the day car a disfavor. What your car is selected not because it is original has a good story about it, looks good or is interesting, but because it is the week of the XXX (evo/wrx, camaro, camry/accord, renault clio,...) and there is not enough submissions of this type.
As a reader, I don't really care about the poll result but like to have a daily surprise
