Take my ad account, please! Ford puts job of marketing Focus up for grabs {Autoblog}
Jun 12th 2007 5:45PM I like the new styling, too and I'm a target audience. 18-24 college-enrolled male.
If you took a blue coupe and got black leather, black rims, and tinted windows...It'd actually look pretty hot. The interior looks nice, and the tan, which I just saw today, also looks good.
If you could get a Focus coupe with leather, sunroof, sync and 17" rims for $16,500 Ford would have a hot item on their hands. It'd be like a Scion tC with fewer quality concerns and better fuel economy (not to mention handling).
Europe considering ban of cars capable of more than 101 mph {Autoblog}
Jun 7th 2007 9:41PM Calling it the guy a "Democrat" member is the same thing as saying "Republic" member.
Europe considering ban of cars capable of more than 101 mph {Autoblog}
Jun 7th 2007 9:40PM There is no such thing as a Liberal Democrat member of European Parliament. It would be Liberal Democratic...and I think it was kind of stupid how had to point out their political affiliation because any liberal parties in Europe are not related to liberal parties in the U.S., such as the Democratic Party of the United States. So no need to try and make liberals look stupid. I think it kind of just back-fired on you...
LaNeve says that Chevy ads must change {Autoblog}
Jun 5th 2007 5:38PM Japanese cars are pointless. Korean cars do Japanese better than Japanese do, and American cars are simply American. American people will make cars FOR American people to drive in AMERICA.
To the average person, a Saturn Aura, Ford Taurus, or Ford Fusion are all more enjoyable than Honda Civic or Toyota Camry. Civic EX Sedan Auto sells for about $22,000 where I live. You can get a Saturn Aura on sale for about $17,000. I think I'd rather have the Saturn even if it wasn't better at that price difference, but it is better...better to be in, better for driving around town, and it has OnStar. Honda's nav systems don't even have bluetooth yet, and the Scion tC I owned convinced me that if I need ultimate reliability I may as well buy a freaking Hyundai.
I'm only 20, but I see Japanese car companies fading and VERY FAST. The simple fact is that even if American cars aren't as good, they are getting better faster than Japanese cars, and the same can be said for the Koreans.
Peace

Jun 1st 2007 2:13PM Someone just got hired at my work. It's a dude named Porsch. Not Porsche. Porsch.
I guess he'll be president someday. ;)
Win an iPod Video and Harman Kardon Drive + Play kit from Autoblog Latino {Autoblog}
May 15th 2007 3:14PM The Harmon Kardon Drive + Play is one of the worst pieces of technology I've ever put in my car. It cost me only $129, but total with installation was $250. The sound quality is HORRIBLE, worse than an FM radio station, and it can't shuffle your songs.
It's a piece of crap.
Spy Shots: 2008 Honda Accord sedan caught! {Autoblog}
May 11th 2007 5:57PM This looks like a Chinese copy of a Hyundai Sonata.
I am sorry, but Hyundai would never ever ever ever sell something that looked like this. EVER. Hyundai wouldn't. Honda will.
Hyundai considering RWD, car-based pickup {Autoblog}
May 5th 2007 1:22AM Here's why the BH-platform C-U-T would be a great idea: low development costs. They already have the platform. They already have the engines. They really just need to design a chassis to ride the platform, make some model mixes, and do some advertisement--that's all it would take.
More importantly, having this kind of vehicle would position Hyundai head to head with Honda, even more so than as of today. This is exactly what Hyundai wants. They want you to compare (objectively nonetheless) Hyundais with Hondas. Why? It's because they are VERY CONFIDENT that they will come out on top. Why? They have VERY COMPETENT products.
So does Honda? Yes. Honda, however, doesn't have good prices, and to some people that "Honda magic" seems like "expensive plastic." Hondas are appliances, for better or worse. Hyundais have personality. I guess you could say the same for Honda...but it would be the personality of a tripping ASIMO (over Hyundai's cleverly placed leg).
Still on Top: Toyota Yaris remains most researched vehicle among GLBT community {Autoblog}
Apr 25th 2007 6:28PM Gay people have a tick for good design. This is why Scandinavian vehicles are favorites among their community. Saab and Volvo are EXTREMELY popular. Volkswagen is like the retarded stepchild / cheap alternative to those vehicles. Liken them to a pair of knock-off Prada shoes that run a half-size off from where they should. You really wouldn't wear them if it weren't for the fact that they look so good and you got them for (what seems like) a really good deal!
If there was ever a case for Toyota to come out with a high-end small car, this is it. Toyota needs a 4-seater city cruiser type vehicle for $15-20k that is customizeable, like Scions, but premium, not like Scions.
US-bound: Hyundai bringing i30 Wagon as Elantra in '08 {Autoblog}
Apr 23rd 2007 5:51PM There couldn't be a worse move. The 5-door model would make Hyundai worth looking at to more people than a WAGON (try selling that to 20 year olds).
I seriously like the 5-door and hope that it comes out. I would trade my V6 Sonata in on one, but not for a wagon. That's stupid. Volkswagen and Honda are looking better than Hyundai more and more -- which is sad, because they aren't.
BRING THE 5, OR YOU ARE RETARDED HYUNDAI.
