VIDEO: Chrysler blind spot detection and rear cross path detection {Autoblog}

Jul 3rd 2008 9:35AM I'm glad to wake up this morning and see that the typical drum beat of autoblog responses is still being published.

Let's see if I can predict how this (and every other story) will go:

It's Chrysler, they're dead

it has to be a piece of junk coming from an American car company

it's not performance oriented

it's going to make the car too heavy

people who know how to drive won't need it

it'll throw off the balance of the car to turn it into an ill handling beast

it will reduce gas milage

make an electric car

it burns gasoline therefore it's bad

did I miss any?

you guys are pretty predictable

Spy Shots: Pontiac G6 gets minor nose job {Autoblog}

May 30th 2008 12:20PM I have an 07 G6 convertible with the 3.9L engine. I get 20mpg in daily in town driving and 29 on the highway. It's been reliable for the 22,000 miles I've owned it and no interior issues at all.

I think many of the people bashing them have never actually driven one. I would have no issue in buying another one.

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 en route to dealers {Autoblog}

May 29th 2008 11:11AM "Because that's all American Car makers can do. A super big and heavy piece of metal which needs a ridiculously big engine that burns 1L fuel every KM"

^^ Translation:
I want one so bad that I'm about to wet my pants, however, I'll never be able to aford one working at Wal*Mart; therefore, I'll knock it on the internet to make me feel better and look more important than I am.

Hyundai Genesis sedan to start at $33k {Autoblog}

May 28th 2008 4:34PM Good value my rosey red backside. It'll be a cold day in hell before I'd pay $40K for any Hyundai V8 or not.

I guess P. T. Barnum was right about a fool being born every minute.

Price the V6 around 23-25K and the V8 around 30K and I may consider.

At the price point they are quoting, it's just another over priced hunk of steel.

Ford firing letting go up to 12% of salaried workers {Autoblog}

May 28th 2008 2:11PM Anyone want to wager that gasoline prices in the US will stabalize after the November election? Especially if the republicans are not elected? OPEC countries are no friends of the current administration....

Hmmm, one has to wonder.

May 19th 2008 11:04AM What's the difference between a catfish and a car salesman?

One's a slimy bottom feeder and the other one is a fish.

'nuff said.

Ashley Force makes history with finals win over dad {Autoblog}

Apr 28th 2008 2:10PM I've never met Ashley, but I have met John a few times. Only as a fan at races but he seemed like the real deal. He always took time to chat with the fans at the races and treated everyone with respect and seemed really happy that you cared enough to ask for his autograph. So many sports "stars" act like it is them who are doing you the favor. John always seemed like it was the fan doing him the favor by asking in the first place.

If Ashley has half the personality of her dad, she's going to go far and wil be well rewarded by the fans who will like her as well as they like her dad.

Yea, she's pretty hot too but there are a lot of hot girls around the race tracks. How many of them can beat John Force in a race?

She's still pretty hot though.

BMW dealerships pats itself on back for delivering M3 sedan to eBay winner {Autoblog}

Apr 3rd 2008 3:57PM what's the difference between a catfish and a car salesman?

One's a slimy bottom feeder

Just one more piece of proof that car dealerships and the sales people who work in them are.. Oh well, this may be a family friendly forum.

In the market for something Unique? Check out their auction online {Autoblog}

Mar 20th 2008 12:47PM How much will they go for? who knows, that's the strange thing about auctions. My guess is the ones that are good, sound, and mostly there will go high. Some of the wreacks will go for little.
