Nissan 360: the Cube {Autoblog}

Apr 29th 2008 9:02PM This is the next car I would like. I will probably need a vehicle that can carry a wheelchair. And this would fit the bill. I liked the Old XB. The new one is a disappointment. The cube should take over where the old XB left off.

LA Times' Dan Neil bumped from NBC Gear {Autoblog}

Apr 10th 2008 3:01PM NBC can't even use proper language to describe the products because of the correct words would be 'profane' and not repeatable in our 'free press'. This whole project needs to be on cable so that everything that needs to be said, can be said.

Ford touting quality equal to that of Toyota and Honda {Autoblog}

Apr 7th 2008 9:19PM Well I like what Ford is doing. I wish them well. BUt I am not prepared to give up my Toyota or Honda until one of them lets me down. Once Ford gets their resale values up to where the other two are, then maybe they can toot their horn.

Charge! GM gives update on Volt development, describes interior {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 8:26AM GM nees to keep their PR mouth shut and develop the VOlt. And then announce it when the prototype is tested and available for a test drive. This is just another PR ploy by GM it distract everyone for their dismal financials and the fact that they are 'imploding' due their continues losses.

Autoline on Autoblog with John McElroy {Autoblog}

Mar 15th 2008 1:42PM I have always changed the oil at 5K or 6 months, whichever comes first. Never had engine oil problems. Moisture can be a problem with cars driven on short trips, which I now do because I am retired. I use the recommended grade oil and have never had problems.

Spy Shots: Black Camaro caught without camo {Autoblog}

Mar 11th 2008 7:50AM Just in time for $4/gal gas. GM snatches defeat from the jaws of victory again. And how much are they paying Wagoner and his crew to constantly be a hour late and a dollar short?

Toyota may build individual brand around the Prius {Autoblog}

Mar 10th 2008 8:45AM It makes sense. Our Prius is really too small. We would like a minivan or pickup truck option. Toyota's product line is really too crowded IMO. A new division may just solve the problem.

GM working to shrink its dealer network, Pt. 2: introducing GM Collections {Autoblog}

Jan 21st 2008 4:05PM To me this whole thing smacks of desperation. The only way to win back market share is to build the best products out there. Gm is starting to build some good products and they need to give it some time. My guess is their bankers and wall street are getting impatient with GM and their old excuses for not making profits. Time is running out and management is getting scared. And they need to be.

New York City shops for next generation taxi at Detroit Auto Show {Autoblog}

Jan 19th 2008 12:14PM Toyota has the excellent 'Crown' which is used in Hong Kong for all Taxis. It is large and may even be adaptable to hybridization. Similar to the Fords/Mercury/Lincoln models that are being retired.

For real this time? Nissan Cube coming to America {Autoblog}

Jan 16th 2008 9:32AM Hope they keep the spring assisted swivel passenger seat for handicapped people. I would buy it immediately for my wife. These are great cars and should sell well since the new XB is such a letdown to many of us.
