No, you're not the only one. The Pontiac version of this car appears to me (read: in my opinion) to be much more visually appealing.

Feb 19th 2007 9:21PM I don't understand why people find these cars to be so beautiful.
It somehow looks like it wants to be a Stingray Corvette. Am I the only person who sees this in the shape of the front end?
And am I the only person who thinks that this car and its sedan counterpart are ugly?
Coattails: Audi gets unintentional boost in Chevy spread {Autoblog}
Feb 18th 2007 4:45PM I can't imagine that people who see this ad and consider buying a Chevy are going to see this subconsciously and think "hmm, I'll buy an Audi instead."
Chicago Preview: Dodge facelifts the Dakota for 2008 {Autoblog}
Feb 4th 2007 5:43PM Thank God, because it needed it. Not that this is terribly attractive.
Chicago Preview: '08 Saturn Vue Red Line & Green Line {Autoblog}
Feb 4th 2007 1:47AM I liked the first generation of the VUE (pre-facelift), and I appreciated the Redline.
But I can't say I really like this -- it seems overly awkward in comparison with the rest of their vehicles. The Outlook has a strange position for the headlights, leaving what appears to me to be a huge gap between them and the lower front fascia.
This has the same problem, and it's really not attractive. The rear end also looks a lot like an Aurora before Oldsmobile went under.
With that all out of the way, I hope Saturn manages to make this vehicle attractive to consumers in other ways. I've been impressed with all of their new stuff; this is easily the weakest link, visually.
Sneak Peek! Wagoner lifts cover on Pontiac G8 {Autoblog}
Jan 29th 2007 6:43PM Looks fantastic, even if it's just a small image. It also looks quite a bit like a BMW, but with a little bit more aggression. I really hope that those wheels don't shrink, though I am sure they will.

Jan 29th 2007 4:19PM It's sort of interesting at the disbelief treat this vehicle with. It's won every comparison I've seen it in -- not that I've necessarily seen them all.
GM upgrading NY engine plant to build new V8 {Autoblog}
Jan 18th 2007 5:03PM I really hope that they keep this new engine exclusive to Cadillac and top Buick models and then pass the Northstar down to the top level Pontiacs, Saturns, and Chevrolets.
2008 Dodge Avenger pricing shows up online {Autoblog}
Jan 15th 2007 9:12PM These cars are huge mistakes. I don't think anyone knows what Chrysler is doing. I can almost see all the reputation generated by the 300/Magnum/Charger evaporating before my eyes.
It's a real pity, because I remember being excited to see the new Sebring and Avenger. And then extremely disappointed.
Detroit Auto Show: A conversation with Jill Lajdziak {Autoblog}
Jan 14th 2007 3:19PM Nothing terribly new here, but it was an interesting interview, and really outlines exactly how Saturn feels about itself -- which matters a lot.
About 2 years ago I went to a Saturn dealership and was completely unimpressed with all of their cars. As recently as last year, I had a fairly strong opinion that Saturns were generally not worth considering when compared to their competition.
I can't say that now. They've come a long way -- I just hope that GM can put this much effort into Pontiac and Buick soon.
