Jan 5th 2007 1:01PM That 2.0T FSI makes 230hp in the new 30th Annv GTi and makes in the 260 range in the Audi S3. I would be all for VAG to sell crate engines. I can think of a few projects that are begging for a 1.8T or even a 2.0T, those aren't specifically mentioned but still would be nice to see something like this from VAG.

Sep 29th 2006 8:26AM Someone mentioned they'd just wait for the Rabbit .:R, the only problem with that is that .:R will only come with a dsg transmission. Not entirely bad, but I prefer a real 6 speed manual.

Sep 8th 2006 3:52PM The reason to want a standard stick is that the breaking point of the DSG seems to be around 350-ish horsepower. Although driving a gti with dsg is a lot of fun, but there we are only talking about 200 or so hp.
VW should offer a AWD GTI with the 2.0T.

Sep 8th 2006 3:20PM We should see it state side, at least that's what all of the VW people say that I've spoke with. The Tex (VW Vortex) probably has the date correct. I'd like to see Audi bring the 2 door A3 here as well.
