eBay Find of the Day: Coggiola T-Rex coachbuilt HUMMER {Autoblog}

Apr 24th 2008 4:55PM If you proudly tout a design that's blatantly borrowing from a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the front, an Isuzu Rodeo at the rear with TVR taillamps, and slapping it together randomly in the hopes that it works, I think it takes a lot of cojones to consider yourself an "Italian design house." I've seen more original styling from Chinese car companies.

According to Edmunds, the Civic gets 25/36 with an auto, and 26/34 with a manual. So it's not better with an automatic...it's equal. I assume we're not counting the Civic Hybrid, as that wouldn't be fair...

You might be thinking of the Civic's fuel economy before the EPA changed its testing procedures, when it was rated around 40 MPG.

Hecha en Argentina: First official drawing of VW's new pickup {Autoblog}

Mar 10th 2008 4:38PM "Robust render could also be a hat, or a brooch, or a pterodactyl."

It's a big pretty white truck with curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.

Pontiac to hype the Hell out of the G8 {Autoblog}

Mar 4th 2008 5:18PM I'm no baby boomer, but if it wasn't for the upcoming Camaro, I'd definitely snap up the G8.

EPA officially defends denial of CA request to regulate emissions {Autoblog}

Mar 4th 2008 2:07PM Yeah, I think emissions regulations should be a federally-derived nationwide standard. One state shouldn't dictate to the rest of the nation what those environmental standards should be, and we shouldn't have 50 different regulations for automakers to meet, thereby making the cost of building the cars to 50 different specifications that much higher.

Geneva 2008: 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco arrives early {Autoblog}

Feb 28th 2008 3:31PM What a difference a nose job makes...that is so much better than the hideous IROC concept. Now I'm upset it's not coming to the states.

Ford recalling 470,000 Mustangs to tweak airbag software {Autoblog}

Feb 27th 2008 10:43PM Aren't unrestrained passengers, airbag or otherwise, exposed to a pretty serious risk of injury anyway?

Kia marketing execs leave company because of ... Millard Fillmore? {Autoblog}

Feb 13th 2008 3:50PM It's truly a shame that the highers-up have that attitude. I thought the commercial was actually pretty funny, and pretty memorable for a "sales event" auto ad. And that "Flashdance" ad got a lot of positive press.

"People are talking well of our cars and ads, but they're not talking well in the right way."

Whatever.

Detroit 2008: EyesOn Design Awards favor Cadillac {Autoblog}

Jan 17th 2008 7:21PM If a group of opthamologists actually approved the judges' selection of the BMW X6 as Best Production Truck, I want to know who they are so I never go into their offices for an eye exam.
