May 1st 2008 3:12AM I want to see the pictures of the idiot on the other side of the freeway! That has to be so friggin hilarious to see that dummy and his new tripod of a car. I just love laughing at those idiots with that set up because they never upgrade the brake system or tweak the tranny. Maybe this will teach the lesson that showmanship can never take the place of functionality.

Nobody wants a stinkin' Porsche anyway. Porsche is for rich high school kids that want to bang hot prostitutes (that never seem to exsist) while their parents are in Cabo for the week. Anything after that, you're trying too hard.

Apr 1st 2008 3:03AM That was the eighties. People back then wore pink Le'Tigre's, blazer coats, jeans and sneakers. Look at the eighties style, did you expect more from the eighties? Everything was cheesier then. At least the acting flowed more and was believeable on the original. THEY HAD TO RENT 3 DIFFERENT HELICOPTERS TO DO A FIVE SECOND SCENE IN THE NEW ONE! It's not like they were even a close match either.
Maybe being a kid had something to do with it, but we are not easily fooled today. Hell, kids laughed at the plot on the new one. The only time they were interested was when the car was in pursuit.
They lose you in California, you show up at a casino in Las Vegas. Two minutes later the bad guys just happen to show up at the same casino...even though they lost you in California? They didn't have the tracking device yet either. Damn, I'm rambling.
