VIDEO: 30-inch clear wheels can burn rubber, glad to know {Autoblog}
Mar 13th 2007 3:13PM How are the people that build and drive these cars not enthusiasts? The definition of an enthusiast is “a person who is highly interested in a particular activity or subject.” What are these people crazed and obsessed about? CARS—like everyone else here! Granted, this isn’t my scene but seriously everyone, they’re CAR lovers just like us.
A good majority of these cars are super clean…and represent their owner’s personality and vision—from juicy paint to tailored interiors (ok that’s a stretch haha).
Also, can you honestly say anyone ingrained in the lowrider scene (going forty+/- years strong) aren’t enthusiasts? You have to be kidding. Maybe Donk culture is the inverse of the lowrider scene.
Can it be said that MKII Golf owners like their cars because they are tiny and shiny? Now how ignorant does that sound?
Donk, Box or Bubble drivers aren’t concerned about hitting apexes or heel-toe, but why should they? It’s not their scene, maybe similar to a Vette owner “hating” on FWD four bangers reppin’ R badges. Donuts at intersections are NOT safe, but neither is driving at 11/10ths on public roads.
VIDEO: Clash of the Titans - Stewart interviews Senna {Autoblog}
Jan 2nd 2007 10:31PM No morals, huh. Put in a YouTube search for "Ayrton Senna rescues Erik Comas". The man gets out of his car in Qualifying in Belgium to help his fellow driver.
What does that mean to those who say no moral relativity? If a race car driver doesn't win what is he? The sole reason to race or even play a sport professionally, is to win. Go Senna.

CLS55 AMG by Ai Design {Autoblog}
Nov 7th 2006 12:27PM Chuck, how can you direct your unfair rant on the ai Design CLS 55 towards its engine covers? Clearly any car made past 1985 has engine bits covered in plastic (worst aesthetics, Nissan’s VQ). Your post could be cut and pasted on every new car blog featured here. I’ve spent a bunch of time with the car in person—it looks as evil as sin.
Also note the kit is straight from the Brabus Rocket and the orange valve covers match the Brembos.
VIDEO: What will Schumi do next? {Autoblog}
Oct 27th 2006 1:33PM Fantastic! It’s great to see he has a sense of humor (can you picture Kimi doing these spots?). I suggest checking out the rest on YouTube though the number sequence is off.
Mercedes beefs up S-Class with S600 Guard {Autoblog}
Oct 17th 2006 1:13PM That’s awesome, but there are too many glamour shots. Ok, the S-Guard on fire is interesting if it isn’t a photochop but let’s see what a 7.62 round does to the windows and doors. Any photos of exploded tires or the punctured, self-sealing gas tank?
Not calling out Autoblog, but for a car made to withstand violent attacks what’s with the sterile beauty shots MB?
V6 Corvette rumors are rumored to be true! {Autoblog}
Oct 16th 2006 6:13PM Booorrring. I’d rather vote for a Nissan 240SX/280ZX replacement for a mid-priced RWD platform car—and by mid-priced I mean below 350Z. There’s your bargain.

Oct 13th 2006 11:36AM Plastic makes perfect! Though, I'm not mad at it.
OC Auto Show: SSC Aero {Autoblog}
Oct 5th 2006 9:46AM I’ve seen the SSC Aero parked next to an Enzo and believe me, parked next to a Ferrari, Porsche, etc; this looks like a kit car. In person the body panels don’t look like shapely metal but rounded soft plastic.
