Oct 29th 2006 1:27AM I had some methods that are quite strange but always worked.
Step 1:
Blow from top to bottom in one quick breath.
if that don't work...
Step 2:
BLOW like crazy top to bottom, bottom to top til your face turns red and you see stars floating around.
if that don't work...
Step 3:
Take a deeeeep breath and release with hot air.
repeat if necessary
usually i don't have to take it to step 4.... but once in a while...
Step 4:
Take the cartridge to a door with a brass knob. Execute step 3 and immediately after doing so, rub the back of the cartridge on the brass doorknob.
I SWEAR THIS WOULD ALWAYS WORK WHEN THE OTHER STEPS WOULDN'T!!!!!!!!
My friends swore by it as well.

I swear i believed in the human race at one point in my life...
but now i know.... dumb (literally.. as in mental capacity), self centered, close minded, gluttonous people outnumber any intellectual (or even semi intellectual), balanced, open minded people.
It's a scary thought. I'm just hoping that the dumb ones (i hope you know who you are) are just kids and have a lot to learn in life still... Oh man do i hope...

I have no desire for a PS3.
I'll be getting a Wii when it comes out and have a 360 right now. So i'm not being jealous and won't be purchasing a ps3 from people like Patrick.
I'm just voicing my opinion on the matter of reselling for profit. Many of you don't seem to see eye to eye wtih me regarding this matter and that's perfectly fine. Everyone's got opinions.
Like i said. People who make stupid posts and show off on game forums make me click the "add your comments" button.

I'm not defending the people who are willing to shell out $1k or more on ebay. I'm defending the people who never had the chance to get it at it's released priced because the person before him/her is selling it on ebay for a markup.
Yes i agree. It is partly Sony's fault for releasing a system earlier than it really is ready to be sold. But you cannot excuse a person for being greedy.

I wasn't saying what you plan to do is illegal. Far from it. I don't think it's so black and white in which what you want to do is "right or wrong". I guess the reason I'm anti reselling PS3 on ebay is because i'm just not into the idealogy of "if i can get away with it, then why not." Everyone has their own values and justices. I just lean more towards the fair and balanced side.
It all boils down to this. You're most likely going to find a way to sell a ps3 marked up for your own specific reasons. People like patrick will most certainly do the same. An eye would probably not even be batted at an opportunity such as this. People like me will frown upon such actions and that's all we can do.
Take what i say as what it really is. Another opinion on a video game blog site (albeit a fair and juste opinion). ;)
