Chrysler execs admit Sebring and Nitro are misses {Autoblog}

Lifespan of a Hyundai Elantra: 10 yrs (if you're lucky)
Lifespan of a Toyota Corolla: 20 yrs
Considering you get the most 'value' or save the most money by keeping a car for the longest time (assuming repair bills don't eat into the equation), then there is no comparison....you should buy the car that will last the longest. This concept is not well understood by those people who want to save a few dollars when they initially purchase a car. If you use the above equation, I would only be interested in buying the Elantra if it costed 1/2 of the Corolla...
Non-scientific and IMHO comment; flames welcome.
LaNeve says that Chevy ads must change {Autoblog}
Jun 5th 2007 5:38PM Toyota quality....superior (anyone who says otherwise has an inferiority complex). 50 yrs of buliding reliable cars = customer loyalty. A temporary increase in recalls will not affect this equation, unless of course the recalls continue (which won't happen).
I am glad to see American cars have just about caught up in quality. Problem they face is undoing the past issues with reliability...this takes time and a continued comittment to keep buliding great cars...so hopefully they won't drop the ball.
Regarding the ad campain; only one other car company has worse ads....Dodge (ever see the Nitro commercials?)

Jeep's second SEMA Concept: the Wrangler Ultimate {Autoblog}
May 22nd 2007 6:31PM Instead of this fluff, Jeep should put more money (R&D) into a better more fuel-efficient engine instead of the gas hog that it uses now. I would buy a wrangler unlimited if it wasn't for the gas mileage issue...

Step 2: don't raise prices
Step 3: maintain their safety focus
Step 4: Fix the tribeca

Honda Crossroad introduced in Japan {Autoblog}
Feb 22nd 2007 7:48PM Damn....yet another interesting vehicle I'd like to see sold here (US)...oh well. I think I might prefer this nice urban ute vs a Honda Element, though they appear somewhat similar.

Feb 8th 2007 9:43PM The pictures of the impreza from the autoexpress website look awesome. Two things to say:
1) I hope these drawings are correct and they acutally build this thing
2) Make sure the next job for this designer is to work on the Tribeca...
Super Bowl XXIV: Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo commercial by Ridley Scott {Autoblog}
Feb 4th 2007 6:53PM Much like the 1984 Apple computer commercial from 1984, this Nissan 300 ZX commercial has no rival. It's the best car commercial ever made...

Oct 13th 2006 5:34PM I just saw a video of this thing flying (well actually hovering) on youtube, check out this link:

I'm no pilot, but it looks extremely difficult to fly. You'd have to have a PhD just to start the thing. I applaud the designer/inventor for what looks like a very complicated feat. However, not sure how practical a vehicle this is. Whoever made this thing put a lot of time and money into it.
