More rumors of a Chrysler sale, bankruptcy {Autoblog}

Jun 30th 2008 3:32PM I no they have a hole to dig out of; but unless other brands within the company are putting it all down. I would think the company would at least be rebounding?

Dodge is solid IMHO even with it's larger cars, the displacement on demand is nice with higher fuel prices. I have driven a few chargers and they get great mileage on the highway and not that bad in the city. Now if you floor it everytime then yes it is terrible on mileage.

Chrysler has decent styling; but no orignial products and they are more than Dodge (somewhat like Mercury and Ford).

Jeep is good; but higher fuel prices maybe a reason for a downturn.

In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang {Autoblog}

May 14th 2008 1:18PM I couldn't agree more. I have looked and sat in both the GT500 and the Bullitt and I really prefer the Bullitt [something to do with the front end]. And the answer if the GT500 was really that much quicker than the Bullitt was answered in the review.

I'll take that extra $10K [if you can get a GT500 that cheap] and slap some go-go parts on a Bullitt or GT and have exactly what I want.

This is coming from a guy that is in the market and looking to buy a Mustangs.

Tony Stewart looking at making a return to Chevrolet {Autoblog}

Apr 25th 2008 1:21PM Well I thought this was going to be a problem, everything Stewart owns is GM backed; but his actual job is backed by Toyota. I think Haas CNC is a pretty good fit, they share equipment with Hendrick.

VIDEO: Pontiac G8 embarrasses BMW 5-Series in internet ad {Autoblog}

Mar 31st 2008 2:36PM Well I guess when domestics build [import] a great design they leap frog the Toyota/Honda/Nissans of the world and have to go after the Europeans. I still say the G8 is the 4-door Corvette, high performance at a low price.

Racist fans target Hamilton at Barcelona test {Autoblog}

Feb 4th 2008 10:10AM Seriously, I believe F1 is the future NASCAR! They have the engine development freeze, they are developing lower performance engines and chassis and now racism. If your not from the states, you need to come over here and look in the R&B, Rapper, Gangsta stores you'll see plenty of NASCAR coats and merchandise there. Yeah, NASCAR fans are the ignorant ones, right?

Newman-Haas defecting from Champ Cars to IRL {Autoblog}

Jan 29th 2008 9:07AM I really wanted Champ Car to win the battle over IRL; but at this point I just want to see the best open-wheel drivers compete against each other for once.

Jan 28th 2008 2:09PM Hey if I could make alittle more money by slapping my name on something, then why not?

Ford to adopt three-year vehicle cycles, plus more Blue Oval updates {Autoblog}

Jan 23rd 2008 5:21PM Caddy Dave is right, anyone that rents cars, sees the base model of that car. I rent cars a-plenty and I seem happier with Fords and Hyundais, but cannot stand Toyotas or Pontiac/Chevys. It has nothing to do with the styling or the image (my work, I just need something pt-a to pt-b) but the ride quality and interior features are what make a rental car and Ford and Hyundais seem to have it as far as mid-size cars.

Officially Official: Ford picks Tata as preferred bidder for Jaguar/Land Rover {Autoblog}

Jan 3rd 2008 11:37AM Someone explain to me how Ford is keeping there technology information from being spread all over the place when this buyout happens?

I know BMW made a big stink about how Ford took alot of BMW's technology when Ford bought Land Rover from BMW way back when. Some say that is where Ford's modular engines came from.
