UK to get updated RX-8 starting in late August {Autoblog}

Jul 15th 2008 2:02PM It's not broken. I've got a lifetime average of 19 MPG in my 2005 RX-8. Outstanding for a fantastic sports car. What's the problem?

Mazda releases two images of updated RX-8 RS, many more leaked {Autoblog}

Jan 10th 2008 1:10PM Why? Because you don't like sports cars? More people road race Mazdas than any other brand. So I guess that means they aren't sports cars?

Rendered Speculation: Another stab at the 2012 Mazda RX-9 {Autoblog}

Jan 4th 2008 9:31PM Meh. I don't run one on my RX-7 or RX-8. Once every few years I get hassled and ticketed for it (always by dickhead Maryland Transit Authority wannabe cops). I pay the $50 and consider it just another "fee".

Dec 31st 2007 11:40AM Why does everybody constantly harp on the oil consumption like it's a problem? Nobody harps on engines for using gasoline, so why harp on something an engine is *designed* to do? The Mazda rotary is *designed* to use a small amount of oil. What's the problem?

Dec 31st 2007 11:16AM The SVX was super-sexy, but it was bloated and slow. If it had shed 500 lbs and gained 100 horses, it might have been mentionable in the same breath as the FD RX-7. Sadly, it's not.

10-year ban for popping a wheelie in Miami {Autoblog}

Nov 28th 2007 4:26PM @Ryan:
"Nobody is going to take away your right to drive your car back and forth in the driveway"

Check up on that, you are wrong. In most states, that right has already been unconstitutionally usurped. You can be ticketed, even arrested, for driving your own vehicle on your own driveway. Even just having a car motionless in your driveway can get you a ticket.

"just not on the roads that the government provides"

The government did not "provide" the roads. They were built by the government for, at the request of, and at the expense of the citizens. Therefore citizens absolutely have the right to use those roads. Unless they drive like idiots and forfeit that right.

Nov 28th 2007 3:40PM Those V-Dub In Ze House commercials are still excellent, and all of them are on youtube. Just search VW commercial and they'll pop up.

"Operating a motor vehicle is a privilege not a right, "

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!!!! So wrong it's scary.

You have swallowed the propaganda foisted on you by politicians with an agenda to gradually habituate you to believe that your only rights are those granted you by the government. Go read the Constitution and Bill of Rights. All rights not expressly allowed the government belong to the PEOPLE. That means driving *IS* a right. Certainly a right that you can lose by driving like an idiot, but a right nonetheless.

Don't give up your rights because somebody with a vested interest tells you it's not a right.

Following CX-9, Mazda to make more vehicles just for U.S. {Autoblog}

Nov 27th 2007 1:15PM Mazda already does, they just don't bring it to the U.S. courtesy of retarded import tariffs on trucks.

See above comment about the BT-50.
