Frankfurt 2007: Production perfection - Artega GT {Autoblog}
Sep 12th 2007 1:13PM Slight hints of S2000 and Cayman, but overall a smooth and elegant design. Purposeful without looking "racecar raw", and I *like* the interior gauges (tach on top, speedo on bottom in analog, other monitors are LCD (and I presume switchable, so you could get oil pressure, or temp or voltage or...))
Not a bad price either, and more interesting indeed than the Cayman or the Elise/Exige - curious what the actual driving dynamics are.
Bring Back the SHO: How about a coupe? {Autoblog}
Aug 31st 2007 3:46PM Snort! Though the original SHO was terrific, tweaking the 500/Taurus/VW Passat knock-off just doesn't quite work. Now, a 4-door SVT Focus, with the European platform...that would be quite nice indeed.

Had to leave my desk for a few minutes to catch my breath - those questions are painfully funny!
Livio De Marchi: King of the wooden cars {Autoblog}
Jun 14th 2007 7:54PM Wow! Those wheels look so much better than the ones on the Tatra posted earlier! Almost looks good enough that it would fool people with a decent paintjob. Odd, but interesting.

Jun 6th 2007 12:55PM Another case of bark being worse than the bite. And how about balancing? Just chuck 'em into a lathe?
Top Gear crowns Weber supercar "Ugliest Car of 2007" {Autoblog}
May 4th 2007 1:13PM All it needs is "exhaust extensions" and a "jumbo wing" - and it could blend right in with the Japanese Bosouzoku-fest of early posting. The rear angle is horrid, too! No rear window at all - and why the orange/gray-silver paint scheme. It is to retch.
Aerodynamic dyslexia {Autoblog}
Apr 19th 2007 6:41PM Mmmm, oversteer tasty, if you catch my drift. The owner just didn't like the bright lights in their rearview mirror at night, and did not know about the dimmer lever. Their next "upgrade" will be window louvers.
Scion announces xB pricing starts at $15,650 {Autoblog}
Apr 5th 2007 12:45PM It does look less like a wheeled toaster, but for some reason really sends off a previous gen VW Golf flavor. Maybe just the color and the wheel cover style. Or perhaps they are adhering strictly to "Form follows Function" Box-on-wheels it is.
Volvo obsessive? Try to outdo this miniature recreation {Autoblog}
Apr 5th 2007 9:27AM Lornie - I am with you! Amazing work, and where the *heck* did he find kits for the 1800 and 122? I have been wanting one (or a couple) for some time now - not to make a display, but to experiment with - much less hassle to "modify" a few dollars of plastic v. a full "chop top" in metal. Yes, I like it a lot. Amazing degree of detail - dirt on the walls, tools in the roll around, you can almost smell the tang of fuel from SU carbs!
New York Auto Show: Honda's hardcore S2000 is a fitting send off {Autoblog}
Apr 4th 2007 6:21PM The blue doesn't do it for me, but it certainly looks better (ugly wing and all) with the hardtop attached. Impressed that the seats are cloth, too - no sticky leather here. Should have been done from the get-go like this...With a coupe (non-convertible) option also (as in Cayman).
