May 16th 2008 9:01AM . . . I love how every gearhead in the world assumes that they're such a good driver that all the factory-designed driver aids are only slowing them down. Seriously, how many people posting on this board could handle a one-ton, 600+ HP monster like this without any kind of traction control? Moreover, even if The Stig reads Autoblog every day, he might very well drive this car around the track FASTER with some sort of TCS; I have to imagine that full throttle in any gear is going to immediately light 'em up . . . this engine is going to completely overwhelm this chassis.

Mar 31st 2008 3:58PM Normally I hate it when a sketch or photo is posted and the comments are full of (hilariously contrasting) "It looks like an X!", "They totally ripped off Y!", "Z from the front, Q from the side!" nonsense.
However, if anyone looks at this and doesn't immediately see the facelifted RX-8, I question their eyesight. There's no way the new NSX looks like this.

Mar 31st 2008 3:02PM I think the problem is now that the "halo" car isn't advertised. In order for a halo car to work, it's got to be highly visible, always at the forefront of people's minds. Dodge has basically been churning out the Viper with mild tweaks for, what, 15 years now? When was the last time Dodge even mentioned the Viper in any of its press?
