Apr 9th 2008 10:39AM This vehicle was designed under the Diamler Ownership so the interior quality was not great at the auto show. Dodge has since then done some quality enhancements to make it nicer but they can only do so much due to the fact they already have the parts made & contracts etc. The Ram is the first interior to be designed by Chrysler instead of Diamler. Which as you noticed is light years ahead of the current Ram and is probably the best interior in a truck..although the '09 F-150 has a very nice interior also. The Journeys materials aren't all that bad if you actually go see one instead of just associating Dodge with bad interiors.
btw, I thought the new sebring/avenger interior was supposed to come out in febuary? Any Ideas?

Apr 4th 2008 9:34AM wow that guy is PMSing all over $137. that's a pretty cheap ticket. I didn't have my seatbelt on once and it was $150 fine ( non droppable), over corrected and went in opposite lane (crossing yellow line $320). Still thats not alot of money but i guess he must broke. This almost makes me feel sorry for cops because I know if you do that in North Carolina they are locking your ass up. If your rude to a cop ( esp. state trooper) they will arrest you on the spot.
They were both white so stop saying racial comments. If anyone did that * white black etc.* to 99% of cops * white black etc.* they would not have put up with it

Mar 27th 2008 12:27PM First off, I wasn't saying every Chrysler Interior is bad? I said some of them (named the models that i thought were bad) but said the Journey isn't that bad. Secondly, all the cars in my driveway are Chryslers so I don't know why you think i am bashing chrysler. I actually sit inside the Avenger & a Compass and everything was rock hard and it had gaps bewteen the concrete hard arm rest and the bottom part of the door.. Diamler really screwed Chrysler over but hopefully they fix it.
I do agree with the person below me that the Pacifica is one of the nicest interiors from Chrsyler. It's all soft touch & an elegant interior design which is why my wife has one. the '08 300c's are better than their old interior which people said wasn't that bad.. but now are even better.

Most people I know have at LEAST three months of their salary in the bank so if they didn't save any money then thats their fault or they could just use a credit card. no biggie but honestly i would love two weeks off

Mar 26th 2008 10:16AM I find it funny how some of you guys knock the Journey for its Interior Materials when you guys have NEVER been inside one. Pictures can be misleading. YES some of the interior is not that well but a lot of the plastic you see is soft touch & very tap gaps almost everywhere.
I know most of Chrysler Interiors are crap..espically the avenger/sebring/compas/patriot/caliber but the Journey is actually "ok".

Mar 26th 2008 1:24AM Personally i think they should pay for medical bills and that's all. Its unfortunate that it happend but he should know to wear his seatbelt. I always wear my seatbelt and everyone in my car always does or else it doesn't leave Park. I'm 17 and my parents bought me a "kinda" fast car.. 04 stratus r/t coupe.. it will go almost 140mph before governor kicks in. I don't see how its the parents fault.. i've wrecked a few cars & my parents just buy me another one..like any other normal person. My parents trust me and i guess hogans parents trusted Nick. I hate the situation but you have to least be smart on your own part.
