As to loss of housing values, unless you are looking to sell, or refinance you haven't "lost" anything, it's a talking point and paper. You can't keep going up forever, it adjusts. Up and down.

Urban legend, you undid one motor mount, jacked the engine just high enough to gain access, plugs out plugs in. About 2 tenths additional time on a plug replacement.
