Abu Dhabi to build Ferrari World theme park {Autoblog}

Nov 30th 2006 9:32PM I agree with yeahright.
It's hard to be enthusiastic about anything in places run by moneyed dictators who hate us.

LA Auto Show: Mazda Nagare Concept wedges into the spotlight {Autoblog}

Nov 30th 2006 2:16AM Sleek form, but otherwise ridiculous.
That thing won't hold humans comfortably and couldn't ride over a bump, either.

These extreme concepts don't impress me at all because I like to see what's available to buy now.

Enough of this Flash Gordon crap.

Environmental protesters crash Rick Wagoner's keynote {Autoblog}

Nov 29th 2006 4:44PM Silly nitwit protester whipped into rage by a misguided "professor" who probably never left school or had a job other than teaching some soft, touchy-feely courses--certainly not economics 101.

Too bad so many teachers are leftist fools because the impressionable young end up becoming mindless Democrats like most of the people I encounter here in beautiful San Francisco. But I don't complain about this town because Berkeley is worse.

LA Auto Show: The 2008 Ford Escape revealed {Autoblog}

Nov 29th 2006 2:15AM Evolutionary change, not revolutionary which is what Ford needs these days. This SUV is quite ordinary IMO.

REPORT: News from inside Ford's secret product reveal to employees {Autoblog}

Nov 27th 2006 9:03PM Ford should finally bury the long-dead Mercury brand and bring cars like the Fiesta and Mondeo to the U.S. instead of building the U.S.-specific junk we get now.

The Fusion is a good car, but why didn't Ford make the Fusion sedan an all-new Taurus instead of adding the nitwit, Fusion name into the mix? Yes, technically, the Ford Fusion is a fusion of Ford and Mazda, but a bit of thought should take people to Mazda dealers instead of Ford dealers IMO.

China's Buick LaCrosse is cooler than ours {Autoblog}

Nov 26th 2006 5:55PM There was a day when Buicks were great cars. Too bad GM screwed it up. Go here:

Chrysler offers incentives to dealers {Autoblog}

Nov 25th 2006 3:24PM A corporate jet scheduled for trips to Germany every day?
I agree that authentic Sauerbraten really is THAT good!

Chrysler offers incentives to dealers {Autoblog}

Nov 25th 2006 2:57PM If DCX has incentives on its new Sebring this soon after introduction, that's bad news, indeed.

Maybe some favorable reviews in the auto press will help if the Sebring is good enough, but the Sebring is certainly no Honda Civic with respect to instant enthusiasm from car buyers. Most will probably end up in rental fleets.

This is a good time to purchase a car now that most thoughts are with Christmas gift buying and dealers are overflowing with inventory.

Bricklin loves Chery, but wants to see others {Autoblog}

Nov 24th 2006 2:15PM Anyone who puts any faith in a Bricklin venture is a dreamer (just like Bricklin).

This guy's a charlatan--think Preston Tucker here.

Avenger production confirmed {Autoblog}

Nov 24th 2006 2:07PM At least the style is consistent--it looks like a Dodge Charger and that's not too bad.

I don't much care for fat "C" pillars and black-painted plastic pieces at the trailing edge of rear door windows because that design looks cheap and glass would improve rear visibility.

Neither the Avenger nor the Sebring will eat into Camry/Accord sales unless the DCX cars are much cheaper which is in doubt--at least until there are deep discounts, cash back coupons, and other signs of distress.
