Ford making more of the Shelby GT500KR for 2009 {Autoblog}
Mar 20th 2008 4:46PM I had no idea that so many mobile homes in trailer parks from coast-to-coast had so many computers with Autoblog.com bookmarked.
As all of these rednecks, punks and vanilla ice clones salivate over the newest special edition Mustang that they hope they can afford one day. Their current 1986 IROC Z28 does not have many miles left.

Mar 20th 2008 3:36PM Imagine that... another Mustang entry on autoblog.com. Is that now 194 different mustang models available for the 2008 and 2009 model years?
As someone who has owned two mustangs, enough already.
Lincoln revival includes production of MKT, killing Mark LT pickup {Autoblog}
Mar 17th 2008 11:54PM psarhjinian, I'm a current owner of a 2004 Lincoln Aviator and love the way it drives. I know what you're talking about in regards to steering and driveability. My wife just bought the new Acura MDX and I cannot stand the way that vehicle drives. It is a workout to turn that wheel. I can steer my Aviator with my pinky.
The point I'm trying to make is that there are plenty of CUV's on the market for the budget conscious and those looking for gas mileage. Most luxury buyers, want luxury, power, technology and the best of everything. They might not like the cost of a gallon of gas, but they hate a zero-to-60 in 9-plus seconds more (Enclave, hint hint).

Mar 17th 2008 2:38PM minivan looking? You might want to get your eyes checked my boy.
They put some 20 or 21inch wheels on this thing and a close to 400hp v6, they can get into the realm of the FX, X6 and Cayenne... However, it's doubtful that Ford goes that far. Like I said in an earlier post. They never seem to do enough to come close to competing in the segment they hint at going for.

Mar 17th 2008 1:19PM I have strong doubts that the brass at Ford will put an engine in this thing that will make it competitive with the Infiniti FX and other luxury SUV's. Certainly it is hoped that they dont try and cram a third row of seats in this thing.
Seriously, when was the last time that Ford led any segment as far as horsepower and zero-to-60 times? I'm a Ford man too, just know we won't see paddle shifters, sport options and a zero-to-60 in under 8 seconds. While the new FX50 will be in the 6 second range, the FX35 not far behind and loads of technology. The U.S. automakers have been drilled into submission by CAFE and the environmental alarmists.

Mar 17th 2008 11:55AM This vehicle could be something special if there is a nice powerplant underneath the hood (which is highly doubtful). Too bad it's not out now so I can consider it. As a current owner of a 2004 Lincoln Aviator, I'm purchasing the new 2009 Infiniti FX50 in June.

Feb 27th 2008 12:44PM I know one thing, I hope that the Lincoln MKT that shares the same platform makes it's way into production. I for one will be buying it. Of all the concept vehicles shown at various auto shows this year, it was the one, that I would buy right now. Instead, I will be buying the new 2009 Infiniti FX that will be shown at Geneva next week. But, a year from now I might switch to the MKT if they build it.

Feb 18th 2008 11:48AM I agree, I would like to see a bigger version that will compete against the Infiniti FX. Not a 7-seater, but one that is midsize with a V6.

Jan 25th 2008 4:17PM This thing looks bigger than I thought. Isn't this thing supposed to compete against the X3, RDX and Infiniti EX? It looks as big as an FX in this photo. If it is, I will certainly give it consideration.... that is if the FX37 is indeed as ugly as those spy photos look.
