Revisit Diablo 2, demo available at Big Download {Joystiq}
Jul 2nd 2008 1:04AM I only recently picked up Diablo 2, and if I recall at the time I found a new copy of D2 and the expansion for #15 each, although I think that was on sale.

DS Daily: What lured you in? {DS Fanboy}
Jun 15th 2008 11:03PM The one that got me to actually buy a DS would probably be Yoshi Touch 'n Go, although Kirby Canvas Curse was another reason. If it wasn't those, I think Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow probably would have done it though.
The HTC Touch Pro {Engadget}
Jun 4th 2008 8:04PM Seeing this makes me glad that I didn't have to sign up for a new contract when I upgraded my old PPC6700 to a Mogul recently. I may have to seriously look into getting one of these as long as it doesn't end up being horrendously expensive (although given all the features and the traditional cost of VGA screened Windows Mobile devices, I suspect it probably will cost an arm and a leg.)
VW Rabbit gets a carrot from Consumer Reports {Autoblog}
May 12th 2008 12:54PM I've had my Rabbit for nearly a year now, and I do have to agree that the fuel economy isn't so great (about 20 when I do mostly city driving, 23/24 sounds about right for mixed driving, but I've had up to 32MPG on a tank when I went on a roadtrip last year,) but you can't beat the interior for the price, and it's a pretty fun car to drive too (not as much as the GTI, but my well-equipped 4 door model also cost $5,000 less than a similar GTI would have.)
Gamecock's Wilson announces candidacy for ESA president {Joystiq}
May 11th 2008 11:47PM Oh, what the heck, he has my support. Sure, he'd probably end up being the Jimmy Carter of Video Game Trade Association presidents, but maybe another crash like we had in '84 would do some good...
Best Buy snaps up 17 CompUSA leases {Engadget}
May 1st 2008 1:39PM It would be nice if a Best Buy would open up in the old CompUSA at Totem Lake Mall in Kirkland WA, although most of the mall is empty these days, so I don't know if they would. On the plus side, they have another empty store (formerly a Rite Aid) next door they could add to this if they were really ambitious about it.

Nintendo's DS-accessible Fan Network now free at Safeco Field {Engadget}
Apr 23rd 2008 1:16PM I've actually got a ticket to the Mariners game on Saturday, so I'll have to make sure to bring my DS and check this out.
