VIDEO: smart fortwo crash test leaks out of IIHS {Autoblog}
Apr 29th 2008 11:57AM All the comments seem to ignore the fact that in most instances, the driver is an active part of the equation. Being aware of one's surroundings and driving defensively will mitigate or obviate the "soccer-mom on cell phone in SUV" collisions. The crash tests are conducted with dummies, which don't react to the impending barrier impact. If there were an alert driver behind the wheel, the vehicles would stop or evade the barrier.
What really makes a Subaru a Subaru? Love? {Autoblog}
Apr 25th 2008 7:20PM I suspect that most of the people who say they love their Subies aren't car people in the sense that AutoBloggers are. Apr 10th 2008 12:12PM Do these rendering speculators have any particular insight into the manufacturer's plans, or are they merely applying their own ideas? The tweaks illustrated are predictable, run-of-the-mill modifications. Given Alfa's creativity, I'd expect something more creative.

Audi R8 cabrio won't get canvas roof or folding hard top {Autoblog}
Mar 28th 2008 2:56PM Doesn't "cabriolet" imply a folding roof of some sort? "Roadster" or "Spyder" would be more appropriate. Or perhaps "Geofnett" (please add an umlaut over the o)?
