Wörthersee 2007: VW shows off monster Golf GTI W12 650 concept {Autoblog}

May 17th 2007 2:20PM VW needs to un-pimp there auto. That's stupid, especially after VW's whole campaign about stupid looking body kits. I know it's not a body kit, but it looks horrible. You can't turn an ugly hatchback into a super car.

Even more pics of the BMW Concept CS {Autoblog}

Apr 20th 2007 3:00PM That's just it, this car looks too much like a Jag or an Aston. Swap out the grill with an Aston grill and you'd never be able to tell the difference. The signature grill is stretched to the point of which it would look fine on an SUV but doesn't work for this car. The side character line is broken, the part where it disconnects and veers downward above the rear fender is not attractive and looks nothing more than silly to me, it would have worked better had the line continued without disconnecting. Obviously I'm not much of a fan of BMW's, I think they are loosing there character, they used to look cool, for instance the last 3 series was great, the new one blandly too similar to the other BMW series. I'm not a European car hater, I love a lot of those cars, but not this one. I think the only 4 door coupe (that's such a stupid term for these cars) that looks good is the Aston Martin, it's the only one that looks natural so far. I'm not digging the super elongated hoods with zero rear end.

Hammer & Coop: Episodes 1 & 2 {Autoblog}

Feb 21st 2007 1:41PM 4. lol I like how on the first vid the windshield was shattered but as they pulled onto the street, it miraculously reappeared!

The windshield wasn't shattered, that's just shattered glass from the big window the car drove threw. I can't help but notice the actor is trying way too hard to act like Ben Stiller, it's a little unoriginal, maybe if they had gotten Ben Stiller to do the adds it would have been a bit better.

Mustang billboards blur background and their own point {Autoblog}

Feb 15th 2007 5:04PM I got it. I completely agree the mustang logo is too small, but it's not hard to get.

Tokyo Auto Salon: Kei-NSX totally has it Beat {Autoblog}

Jan 13th 2007 11:53AM That is probably the sweetest conversion I've ever seen on a car. It still resembles the Beat, but looks like it has one totally sweet kit on. That is cool.

Detroit Auto Show: Ultimate Wallpaper Gallery {Autoblog}

Jan 12th 2007 2:27PM Best shots? I don't consider grill mug shots great shots. It must be hard to work with a bunch of still standing cars though, so good effort, but don't quit your day job! I have to hand it to you, that Efijy shot is nice

Detroit Auto Show: US Launch Information for the Smart ForTwo {Autoblog}

Jan 7th 2007 1:59PM Are you kidding me? 15k, that's steep. I was at most expecting nothing more than 12k. This isn't going to go over well against the other small and less expensive cars in the states.

Japan-only Transformers trailer shows new clips {Autoblog}

Jan 3rd 2007 2:38PM #1, I take it you're the kind of person that actually enjoys seeing 'all' the funny/action/good scenes from a movie in trailers. Your mostly alone there bud, I think it's great that they aren't showing too much of the robots, otherwise it wouldn't be exciting when you see them for the first time in the actual movie. These trailers give just enough. Quit pretending you won't see it just because the robots don't look 'G1', this movie is not suppose to be G1, it's suppose to be a live action transformers movie, that's all.

Ford's big gun for Detroit: the Mustang-based Interceptor Concept {Autoblog}

Dec 31st 2006 3:05AM I like it so much. I'm more for the Japanese and Korean cars, but I secretly hope Ford pulls through the mess they are in and come out in good shape. Replace the CrownVic with this, and Ford is doing great in my books.

Toyota FT-HS Concept Gallery {Autoblog}

Dec 26th 2006 8:24AM This car looks a lot like the Celica, if anything I think it would be better named as a Celica rather than a Supra. The side body lines that go towards the tail lights look reminiscent of the last gen Celica, as does the hood and grill. In fact the more I look at it, the more I think Celica, I doubt this concept could resurrect the Supra's name plate, something else a lot better than this will have to do that, that's not saying I don't like it though, this would make a great Celica.
