Feb 12th 2008 3:41PM That's such a ridiculous argument that people keep making. Where the car is assembled is such a small component of the whole process. Where are the parts made? Where is the vehicle designed? Where are the vehicles tested? Where do the profits go? And so on...
Generally speaking, for both Honda and Toyota the answer to most of those is Japan, and for the domestics it's Southeast Michigan.

Jan 25th 2008 10:18AM I was never that impressed with the exterior compared to the Camaro or Mustang, but this interior is particularly disappointing. Heck, I don't like the current Mustang interior but it's a few years old and looks better than this.

Jan 3rd 2008 2:05PM A jukebox that can read your text messages, do hands free calling, and play music from iPods/Zunes/etc, yes. I've used it briefly, and wouldn't buy a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicle without it. I hope Mazda gets it after the 18 months are up.

Dec 12th 2007 2:24PM Ditto. I'd actually consider this glass roof option on a V6 Mustang, but I think the interior looks pretty bad compared to the Taurus, Focus or even the Fusion. The Mustang is also the only one of those that isn't available with Sync.

"Lincoln continued its winning streak in November as retail sales climbed 4 percent. November marked the 14th straight month of higher retail sales for the premium brand. Total Lincoln sales in November were down 7 percent, reflecting lower fleet sales."
This is Lincoln's 14th straight month of higher retail sales. They just aren't selling as many taxis... which is probably a good thing.
In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Ford Focus SES Coupe {Autoblog}
Nov 19th 2007 2:34PM I own a 2005 Focus SES sedan, and test drove a 2008 SES sedan a week or so ago. I like the interior more, but the exterior is a wash for me. For some reason I'm not as polarized as most of you.
I did like SYNC and the engine bump from 130hp to 140hp plus 50lbs of weight loss made it feel faster, but not enough for me to buy one. I'll be looking at the 2009 Fusion and Mazda6 refreshes instead.
