eBay Find of the Day: Trans Am SE signed by Burt Reynolds {Autoblog}
May 4th 2008 10:54PM I don't think you can get much more American than having a Hummer in your driveway and a Trans Am parked on the front lawn, right next to the couch and weight bench... also on the front lawn. No, just kidding, in all honesty that car is pretty sweet.

Bugatti targa-top Veyron will be more expensive, exclusive {Autoblog}
Apr 28th 2008 8:51PM I actually read a study that asked the girlfriends/wives of Bugatti Veyron owners and 98 percent of them said their boyfriends/husbands penises were significantly below average size. Okay, I am just making this up. But, seriously what good is a Veyron for besides showing off and going fast in a straight line.

Proposed CAFE rules hurt Porsche, small powerful vehicles {Autoblog}
Apr 28th 2008 8:32PM Yes, this is definitely the solution. We all know it is the very small percentage of the population that can afford new sportscars that is causing the majority of the pollution, not the massive trucks and SUV's that consume the majority of the road. Or the tracker trailers (though that is completely another story because regulating commercial vehicles would slow production). Personally, I think it would be a better idea to directly tax the consumer of the Porsches, Ferraris, etc.. because they most likely can afford it and will not change their driving preferences for a few thousand dollars difference. If the gov't only taxes the manufactures than they probably will assume that all of the cost can not be reasonably passed down to the consumer and will cut even more models from the US/Canada lineup. That means no M3 CSL, RS4 Avant, etc..(ever). Well I better wrap this up before I start to ramble.
Officially Official: Corvette ZR1 makes 638 hp and 604 lb-ft {Autoblog}
Apr 25th 2008 12:22AM Yeah, but the Viper only makes 600 hp. It would take at least four more liters to produce that 38 horsepower.

Apr 25th 2008 12:09AM Thank god for forced induction. Or else it would take at least 12 liters displacement to make an American engine produce 638 hp.
