Jun 9th 2008 9:32PM Its got less to do with the v10s than the reductions in downforce since 2004 (most of the lap records are from 2004). Higher lap times, less overtaking. I say bring on 60% less downforce and slicks next year, we might see more moments like massa's outstanding double overtaking move.

Jun 2nd 2008 2:22AM These cars arent always crushed for legal reasons, sometimes they tried out some new technology and dont want it falling into the wrong hands.
As for doing something constructive with them, a German artist did mount a camera inside a 911 that was being crushed for the same reasons, and then called the video "art".

I think this is referring to gt5 and not prologue, and basically says that cars will get damage where the manufacturer allows it.
