In the name of faith: GM dealers buy $1M in GM stock {Autoblog}

Jul 17th 2008 3:35PM Sounds like a good deal.

In case anyone is interested, I'm selling a bridge. Cheap. It's located in Brooklyn NY, and it's in great shape.

Downer of the Day: Chevy Beat not coming to U.S. {Autoblog Green}

Jul 16th 2008 7:48AM It certainly is way short sighted for GM to build the Beat to not meet US crash and safety standards. Regardless of fuel prices, the Beat would have done well in the US. The fact that they did cut corners by not making US compliant from the start says alot. If the Smart four two can meet these standards, and the Beat can't, we're better off without it.

Undercover Stangs: Indiana police to use unmarked Mustangs {Autoblog}

Toyota to start exporting U.S.-built SUVs and minivans {Autoblog}

May 20th 2008 1:52PM I hate to say this, but having the UAW involved in this venture will doom it to certain failure. I own an Indiana built 2008 Avalon, and it is of outstanding quality throughout.

Ford holds Taurus SHO focus group in Chicago... what does it mean??? {Autoblog}

May 7th 2008 2:35PM I agree the Taurus is too frumpy to be an SHO. A Fusion SHO? - Yes. Bring the Australian Ford Falcon over and call it SHO? - definitely yes!

UAW strikes GM Malibu plant {Autoblog}

May 5th 2008 12:27PM Good one, UAW! The new Malibu is the only reason your people have jobs. It's because of organizations like the UAW that Ford, GM, and Chrysler are having such trouble. I'm thinking of buying a 2010 Camaro, and if I find a "Made in China" stamp on it, it'll be the UAWs fault!

Apocalypse Preparation: Geiger Ford F650 {Autoblog}

May 2nd 2008 3:09PM Watch out, Ironhide!

Automakers facing a 75 mpg CAFE rating by 2030? {Autoblog}

Apr 16th 2008 8:52AM The automobile is always the easy evil target for any environmental concerns. As soon as gas prices drop, everyone will be buying monster SUVs again. Cars today are far cleaner and fuel efficient than our parents and grand parents ever dreamed. While it's a good idea to continue developing alternative fuels for automobiles (forget ethanol), focus on what is really the major contributing CO2 factors, like coal burning power plants. If every coal burning power plant in the US was replaced with wind/solar/atomic/hydro power, we would meet the 50-80 percent.
