America likely won't be getting a Smart diesel soon {Autoblog Green}

Apr 22nd 2008 8:19AM The diesel is the only Smart that makes any sense. The economy gap between the diesel and the gassers is so large that if diesel was $6.00 a gallon it still would make sense to go with the diesel. Look at how small this car is, 40mpg is a joke.

Apr 22nd 2008 8:08AM I’m sure glad I purchased my 2005 diesel Passat for an additional $300.00 over the gasser. My car is now worth $6000.00 over a comparable 2005 Passat gasser. Would gas be 6-9 cents a gallon more expensive without ethanol? {Autoblog Green}

Mar 26th 2008 9:11AM I know that diesel would be less expensive if gasoline did not have ethanol?

Audi Q7 hybrid won't be making it to the U.S. {Autoblog}

Mar 24th 2008 10:52AM This is actually a good move, as a SUV is far better suited for a diesel that a hybrid.
