More rumors of a Chrysler sale, bankruptcy {Autoblog}
Jun 30th 2008 4:17PM Daimler is the guilty party that sucked the life out of this once great institution. The company was the most profitable in the world until the Germans managed to ruin it. This is why they sold Chrysler, then high tailed it back to Deutschland. Cerberus inherited the crap we see now on the road. Not being car people, I do not think they knew how watered down Chrysler had become. Look at the interior plastics and the odd external designs. Need I say more?
GM may divorce trucks and full-size SUVs {Autoblog}
May 9th 2008 1:51PM John & Jason
Gentlemen, no I do not live in Michigan or Texas, but here in the Chicagoland area, these vehicles are usually not used for towing. I understand the towing capacity difference, but my argument is that most people in my area buy the bigger SUV's for status. These are their everyday daily commuters. The heaviest thing they carry are their lattes.
GM may divorce trucks and full-size SUVs {Autoblog}
May 9th 2008 11:30AM This full size SUV thing never was about pulling anything. It has always been about profit. Out of all the people I know that drives a full size SUV, no one pulls anything; not even a little red wagon.
The Arcadia, Outlook, and Enclave can do the same job, and better if we are talking about comfort. They also cost less....So, bye bye super sized SUV.
VIDEO: Corvette ZR1 posts 205 mph top speed {Autoblog}
Apr 25th 2008 12:16PM Wow! The video alone makes me want to go out and push my Malibu Maxx to the limit (112 mph). I am very proud of the Chevy boys. YES WE CAN.........
Spy Shots: 2009 Honda Pilot {Autoblog}
Apr 10th 2008 11:55AM This thing looks like a short version of a Chevy Uplander at certain angles. With Honda profits, you would think that they could afford more talented design engineers.

Ford touting quality equal to that of Toyota and Honda {Autoblog}
Apr 8th 2008 5:10AM I can't speak for everyone who owns a Ford product, but my 2003 Focus has been bullet proof. I have now owned this car for 5 years come August and with 118,400 miles under the hood, this car has had no issues.
Now a lot of cars can make it to and surpass 100k miles. But my Focus is solid as a rock. There are no rattles and you cannot here the engine running sometimes. Since I bought this car new, I have always drove it like I stole it. This car has also shuffled my wife and kids all over the place, so it is always on the move; hence the miles. again, I can't speak for other Ford owners, but my experience has been positive.
Autocar pits GT2 against Z06 in a drag competition {Autoblog}
Mar 28th 2008 4:55PM Motor Trend tested the GT2 in its May issue and I must say, the numbers are impressive. They also show a chart that compares performance numbers against the Z06, Viper and Gallardo. North to 60, the GT2 did it in 3.4, the Vette, 3.5. In the quarter-mile, the Porsche did 11.4@127.9, the Z06 did it in 11.5@127.1 mph. The GT2 beat the Vette in braking, from 60 to 0, by 6 feet; posting a respectful 98 feet stop. As far as lateral acceleration, the GT2 did 1.10 g's, compared to the Vett's 1.05 g.
The GT2 is an impressive machine, but its price of admission doesn't justify its performance. If this is the best Porsche has to offer then wait until the ZR1 squares off against it.
Porsche 911 Turbo, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and U.S. spec. Nissan GT-R hit the racetrack {Autoblog}
Mar 21st 2008 12:49PM The new Nissan GT-R is a wonderful car. It performed well against the Porsche and the Corvette. However, I cannot crown this car king yet. It might be fast but is it reliable. The day the GT-R beats the Corvette in the GT-1 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, then I will be impressed.
