Ralf Schumacher tanks on DTM debut {Autoblog}

Apr 15th 2008 8:05AM Edit: I am sure that if HE was racing in Ekstrom's Audi he would be in the top 5.

Wishful thinking, maybe :)

Ralf Schumacher tanks on DTM debut {Autoblog}

Apr 15th 2008 8:04AM For what it is worth, I think that Ralf does have talent. I personally don't like him as a driver but I still think he has the skills needed in order to race in top level motorsports.

Remember, the car that Ralf was driving was a year old, and he didn't have a ton of practice in them. I am sure that if I was racing in Ekstrom's Audi he would be in the top 5.

Eddie Jordan barricades entrance to Force India F1 {Autoblog}

Mar 27th 2008 9:45AM Vinay, don't get me wrong, I love the fact that AutoBlog is covering F1 now and then. But, the part that grinds me is what parts they choose to cover.

There is so much going on in the sport right now. BMW is making a run for the top. Honda looks like it is making some progress. Toyota being in the top 10!

Why focus on the drivel and gossip when there are so many other stories in the paddock that are more interesting and relevant?

Mar 27th 2008 9:41AM It may be funny, but I would rather read something that is funny AND on topic. It's just filler for the sake of filler.

I think that AutoBlog should be acting like a respectable automotive journal. You would never see something this stupid in Motor Trend or (heaven forbid) Car and Driver. Why? Because it doesn't matter.

Filler for the sake of filler is like watching CNN on a slow news day going on about how Michael Jackson went to the grocery store today. It doesn't matter.

Mar 27th 2008 8:48AM What's even more ridiculous is that this item was posted on AutoBlog in the first place.

I, along with others, enjoy a good piece of F1 gossip now and then. But, seriously guys, it's a land dispute. How is this on topic with the automotive industry?

Now if Eddie had blocked the road with F1 cars of various vintage and there were pictures of it, then you would have something to talk about.

Must be a slow news day...

Champ Car teams dropping like flies following IRL merger {Autoblog}

Mar 20th 2008 11:20AM I have always liked Paul as an F1 team owner. Maybe he and one of the other CCWS refugees can get together and buy Toro Rosso?

There was nothing like listening to Stoddart talk about the current state of Formula 1 (when he was in it) and always managing to, in a very clever way, tell Mosley and Ecclestone to go f**k themselves.
