Kentucky politicians gone wild wooing ZAP! factory {Autoblog Green}
Jul 13th 2008 12:13PM ZAP's vehicles may not the best in the world and there is certainly scope for improvement but they fulfill a requirement that people have for electric vehicles to cut their transport costs and to make a difference to the environment.
As for the rollover the sedan and the truck are really quite stable when you drive them. You should take a test drive. As for being overpriced, how are they over priced at about 11 grand, the cheapest street legal EVs around and costing about a tenth of say a Tesla roadster?

Greener golf with a solar golf cart {Autoblog Green}
Jun 15th 2008 10:45PM I think golf carts are a contradiction of terms: golf is supposed to be about getting out there and WALKING, not about being driven around in a cart, surely that defeats the very purpose of the exercise (pun intended)?
But still a solar golf cart is a great idea.
ZAP gets CARB rebates and an in-wheel motor company {Autoblog Green}
Jun 11th 2008 11:13AM I am actually someone who is very interested in EVs in general and ZAP in particular who i believe is the only company providing a viable and affordable EV range at this time. Given that ZAP keeps being maligned often unreasonably perhaps someone needs to take up for them.
And i was merely commenting on what is quoted above: ""Today's ZAP wheel motor vehicles can nearly double the range of similar vehicles we brought to market ten years ago.""
