VIDEO: The Stig runs the GT-R around Top Gear's track {Autoblog}

Jul 20th 2008 11:08PM It's still an automatic so it fails. And nobody give me the "no torque converter no auto" because it all comes down to no clutch pedal = automatic, and it has the ability to be put into automatic mode

Rendered Speculation: Honda NSX without zebra camouflage {Autoblog}

Jun 28th 2008 3:00PM Looks good, but why does it have to be automatic, like the GTR. The ZR1 just proved that a real manual is faster.

Correction: Pontiac G8 GT will NOT have an optional 6-speed stick {Autoblog}

Jun 24th 2008 12:14PM Wow this is sad news. I was glad when autoblog said that the G8 GT would get the stick, now not so much. I hate automatics. I really want the G8 ST which is coming out soon, and if they don't offer a 6 speed in it I wouldn't give it a second look. As others have said on here, the GXP is too much for some people.

Nissan GT-R Spec-V may debut in Paris and go on sale by December {Autoblog}

Jun 12th 2008 4:29PM You guys saying that it is about trying to build a car to go faster and be pure performance, remember that the gtr is a car built for the street and consumers not just for the race track.
For the price and similar performance I would get a ZR-1, it has a real gear box.

Jun 12th 2008 2:56PM Too bad it is still gonna have a stupid ass auto transmission. Before you say "no it's a dual clutch not automatic", this car can change the gears on its own. That sounds like an automatic to me. It needs a real 6 speed transmission to be a great car.

MT claims Holden Coupe 60 is really 3-year-old Pontiac GTO replacement {Autoblog}

Mar 11th 2008 3:07PM psarhjinian you sir have no idea what you are talking about. I am of the "F&F" group and I hate four doors. As do most of this group. The reason the WRX, Evo, and the SRT4 are popular is because that is all that is out there for sporty cars. Most F&F guys drive mid 90's coupes, civic, prelude, 240sx, eclipse and others. Car makers are telling the consumer what they want and not asking.
As for the Coupe 60, I would love to see that hear as a new GTO, but make it so that Canadians can buy them too. I wanted the GTO but I can not have one because it doesn't meet Canadian standards.
