Mercedes' new S-Class rocks Distance Plus urban cruise control {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 8:23PM This is a great new feature on the mercedes benz, not that you should be taking you eyes off the road. I'm sure lexus and acura will be quick to follow suit. Perhaps bmw will be upgrading theirs as well.

Future BMWs will self-park in your garage {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 8:09PM Only a matter of time now before BMW's will just drive themselves.

New Sebring sports heating/cooling cupholder {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 8:05PM It's nice to see the US coming out with something inovative. True you do ususally see these types of amenities on luxury cars like Mercedes Benz, Lexus or BMW. Now if we can only work on an american hybrid or hydrogen full celled vehicle to try and compete with the Japanese. Perhaps Mercedes Benz or Acura or Lexus or whoever might beat us there.

Pimp My Heart, the HeartBeat Bass Booster {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 7:57PM I don't know perhaps listening to your own heart beat will put you more in touch with you body. I'm sure it wasn't designed with that in mind.

The Chevrolet Ford and BMW guy.

Apple iPod integration coming to Ford, GM, Mazda {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 7:49PM It's late comings like this with american auto manufacturers like Ford and Chevrolet that keep us too far behind in the auto industry. When toyota comes out with it's 2009 prius that get's 90mpg or so, I'm really hoping this doesn't completely tork US auto makers.

Garmin's BMW Motorrad III Navigator motorcycle GPS receiver {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 7:41PM This is a great idea from BMW. I've never seen one but I'm assuming that there is some kind of lens over the display to allow you to focus that close up.

Toyota unveils advanced collision detection technology {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 7:31PM I like the concept here that Toyota has developed. I would like to see a big flashing strobe on the back of this toyota to warn the other driver behind me to slam on his brakes though. Better to not be hit then to safely be hit.

Komamura's two-headed Horseman 3D camera {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2006 7:23PM For a wedding photographer this could be a nice gimmick tool to add to a wedding photographers camera bag. Like my fish eye lens. I only use it a few times during a wedding but it makes for some unique photos. If it were a digital camera or a lens that I could add to one of my digital slr cameras that would be great.

Alienware adds Core 2 Duo to Area-51, Sentia laptops {Engadget}

Aug 29th 2006 2:53AM Yeah it won't be long before the new quadcore's get released. I'll be waiting for this.

Toyota's self-parking car coming soon to US {Engadget}

Aug 25th 2006 7:09PM I think the only time I would even think about using this feature on any car was if I had a stiff neck. That's the only time I think I've ever had some trouble parallel parking. I'd rather see toyota or honda for that matter invest those funds into solar panels that would charge up my batteries while I'm at work all day.
