Oct 15th 2006 8:04PM this must suck, going from uber-fast cars that handle well and accelerate to a heavy car, that has a good top speed but needs a lap to get there. also from having a car capable of going left and right equally well to one that doesnt turn right (except at the road courses). also he loses two gears and thousands of rpms. i see no plusses in his situation. i agree testing f1 cars would beat the shit out of driving stock cars.

Oct 1st 2006 2:27PM my dad has a 745 with idrive and the first time i drove it the system seemed absolutely retarded, since then i have driven it many times and have learned the software fairly well. even not driving the car on a regular basis when i go back to it i can do all of the things without taking my eyes off the road.
