VW recalling all 410,000 Passats sold between 1999 and 2005 {Autoblog}

Apr 5th 2008 4:15PM So, you have owned several. I guess you got a new one every 5 years.

If there is a true idiot, then it must be you. How dumb does one have to be to make the same mistake more than once??????

Apr 5th 2008 2:59PM So, your Passat is rusting off right before your eyes...eh?...oh sorry, I didn't catch the part where you said you don't actually own a VW, but just talking out of your a$$!

Admit it, you don't know what you are talking about!

VW recalling all 410,000 Passats sold between 1999 and 2005 {Autoblog}

Apr 5th 2008 2:19PM REEEEEALLY???

Well, then i would suggest that you take your rusted Passat to VW, because they have a 10 perfertion warranty...they will take care of it.......oh, what is that you say??...you don't eeeeven have a Passat? Oh, OK then.

So you are talking $hit like most of the other posters! I always love seeing these posts! It never takes long. I just wonder what it is about these people. Is it envy, ignorance or just plain old simple stupidity. I think it's all three together!

Keep it up losers. These VW posts are as sure like stink on a monkey.

Audi considering dropping out of ALMS? {Autoblog}

Mar 21st 2007 4:59PM What would have happened if Audi's TDI experiment would have fallen flat on it's face? I'm sure when word got out that Audi would enter a Diesel, many people at ALMS were laughing. Would there have been rule changes restricting the gassers to make the competition more competative?? Don't think so! So why then should Audi be punished for their success?

Audi are the ones laughing now! They should pull out and move to F1. Screw ALMS!

Engine problems lead Honda to recall 165,000 {Autoblog}

Mar 19th 2007 6:45PM Hahahahahahaha! This is too funny!!

Where are all the VW bashers???? When VW has a little relay recall, eveyone goes crazy!
At least VW doesn't try and fool people when it comes to recalls!

Every Segway ever sold recalled {Autoblog}

Sep 14th 2006 3:32PM Awwwww, that's a shame!

From an engineering point of view, the Segway is amazing!

From a "...revolution that will tranform the way we travel" point of view, this thing is G-A-Y!

I mean everytime I see an able-bodied person riding one of these things, I just want to knock them off it and tell them to walk! Even more funny is when cops are riding this - like in some US cities. And they wonder why they don't get any respect!!

Audi R10 claims 1-2 finish at Road America despite disadvantage {Autoblog}

Aug 21st 2006 3:54PM Next move by ALMS, add 143lbs to the Audi. See how that goes, and add some more if need be!

Lexus hybrid shows well in first endurance race {Autoblog}

Aug 21st 2006 3:43PM I still haven't been enlightened by many of you know-it-alls!! None of you have been able to explain the true benefits of running a hybrid car.

The question I was alluding to was, during an entire race, can a battery retain enough energy to assist with the acceleration of the car? I have a feeling there is not enough, hence, my questioning the benefits of hybrids in races. Once the battery is dead, you are driving a regular gasser! Maybe they ran 75% of the race as an overweight gasser...which we will never know!

Maybe I'm wrong, but nobody has address the efficiency of the entire vehicle. The added weight is a tax on performance, the generator/motor is also a tax on performance -when it's charging the battery.

Regenerative breaking recuperates some of the kinetic energy, but surely not enough for the power demands of a race.

Nothing is for free, except for the recuperated energy from the breaking. It requires energy to charge the battery, which cost fuel.

I’m not questioning the virtues of hybrids, but rather their purpose in a race. In a race, both performance and efficiency are key. The TDIs definitely have both. Not sure if the hybrids do.

Maybe the hybrid producers felt they needed to try and offset some of the positive publicity that the TDIs have received with their impressive Audi wins!

Lexus hybrid shows well in first endurance race {Autoblog}

Aug 18th 2006 5:30PM I fail to see the point of a hybrid race car - other than for marketing purposes.

Except for the start and maybe the pit-stops, the car is running on a gasoline engine like everyone else. Where are there any benifits??

Please, someone enlighten me!

Audi R10 success means more restrictions in ALMS {Autoblog}

Aug 15th 2006 2:39PM Ahhhhh, it's music to my ears when I hear comments like; "diesels have an unfair advantage"!!

Geeze, Europeans have know this for a very long time!! Only here in NA have the vast majority of consumers remained ignorant, almost to the extent of intolerance, about diesel engines!

There's egg on lots of peoples faces! I'm sure many were laughing when they heard that Audi was going to run TDIs!! Now they are complaining like little girls!

Hopefully, this will open up the eyes of the NA automotive consumer, which they have so forcefully kept shut, over the last 20+ years...but then again, who am I kidding! ;)
