Does car color correlate with personal confidence? {Autoblog}
May 15th 2008 10:48AM I currently have two vehicles. My main driver is emerald green and the second is bright red. My harley is luxury rich red and my snowmobile is black. My mountain bike is bright blue, my mower is orange. My canoe is forest green, my softball bat is bright yellow and black. All my appliances are stainless steel. I think that about covers all of them! Colors that is.

May 7th 2008 12:27PM Chris- Stupid people do stupid things because they are stupid. This doesnt distract people with a responsible approach to anything that is in their vehicle. Examples include A/C, Radio, compass and temperature readout, Navigation, or your tachometer! If you dont have the ability to differentiate between this you shouldnt be driving any car let alone this one. Not to mention most "losers and idots" cant afford this anyways.

May 6th 2008 5:44PM Isnt that what you are trying to do? What about my state's rights to have a economy that doesnt halt due to disagreements proposed by CARB.

May 6th 2008 5:20PM MIKEofLA- I agree, its a major shift of the culture. But changing how the rest of the country drives and does commerce is counterproductive to the nation as a whole. We need to use masss transit where it will work and not force changes everywhere where it wont help only hinder the economy. I know that even among the true car guys, they will change for the better. Maybe only driving their prized cars during the weekend or once in a while rather than everyday. Besides most of the carguys dont sit in the traffic jams with these vehicles do they? I am disappointed with a few posters who believe that California is working for the betterment of the nation as a whole, but only see how this will drastically change the economy for the worse where I live. We NEED large trucks and AWD cars. I do believe we need better fuel economy, but believe with better mpg the more miles we will drive counterbalancing the effects that it was originally supposed to do.

May 6th 2008 4:49PM MikeofLA- With LA so far spread out but continuous urban sprawl, why wont mass transit work? Could there not be smaller spurs off from the larger trunkline?

May 6th 2008 3:58PM A post above mentioned that California has the sixth largest economy in the world and a large percentage of the population. Why cant they concentrate on ways to help offset their abuse of fossil fuels with methods like mass transit since everyone lives in such close proximity. Also improve the methods of producing electricity. The rest of the nation shouldnt bear the brunt of the changes that should only affect the abusers out on the west coast or east coast. Its like everyone is only concerned about their little world rather than the nation as a whole.
And you thought $79,995 was crazy...GT500KR for sale on ebay for $154,991.00 {Autoblog}
May 5th 2008 10:31AM I dont think this will sell at that price, but if you listen to the posts on this, it is quite obvious no one has a clue about what this car represents. Or what the mustang is designed to be. They are making 1000 examples of this car in 2008 and another 700 in 2009. The mustang doesnt need IRS. It is designed for those who are looking for a muscle car not a sports car, there is a difference. Besides the average mustang buyer cant tell the difference in ride quality between the two anyways. The person who has to have IRS isnt going to be looking at a mustang either. Ford thinks that this is fine as they have been very succesful selling the current generation of this car. In fact they will continue to do well even as the Camaro and Challenger becomes more available.
