Feb 19th 2008 1:14PM Take a car like, say, a Civic and apply random chrome accents and other aesthetic items, and most would call it gaudy, ugly, and couldn't keep their lunch down. Yet, if it's a Porsche and done up by a reputable tuner, it's somehow good. At least with Gemballa, you know the cars will actually perform brilliantly, but their styling still looks like a high schooler with no taste and too much money as far as I'm concerned.
And yet, if I could afford it, I'd still buy it. Sigh.
